He communicated clearly before arrival, and then did a thorough inspection of all our chimney issues and was able to diagnose our problem and fix it the same day. 5 stars for the work done. This was only done recently, so I don't know if the fix will be a long term solution, but Top Hat ensured us they stand behind their work so they would come back to make corrections in the off chance the problem isn't solved."

"Initially I was looking to get some masonry fixed. Rob came by and pointed out the chimney was in very bad shape. There were cracks in the crown and deteriorated mortar. He provided a quote and a thorough explanation of what work would be done, and followed up with pictures once complete. He was accommodating with my scheduling. "Mario did a detailed inspection and quote. I had three companies bid out the job and he was the only one concerned with the condition of my chimney liner. Turns out the chimney liner was full of holes, potentially a safety issue. If I had hired the other companies that would not have been addressed. Quality of the work was great, always showed up on time and left the job site clean. Main office staff was friendly and easy to get ahold of. If there were any changes they always communicated it ahead of time. The new grout blended in perfectly, chimneys look much better. I also appreciated they offered crown coat, my crowns were in bad shape and look much nicer after using crown coat. They even fixed up some stuff on my brick lamp post."
