He explained everything he would do and discussed other options in case rodding the pipe didn't fix the drain. He performed the work cleanly and finished the entire job in less than an hour. "Week before last we thought we had a clogged toilet.. It was apparently the main sewer line. We called a commercial franchise plumber out and $550 later we thought everything was fixed. This was on a Thursday. By the following Monday we were experiencing the same thing. We call them back out because it was a 6 month warranty. They diagnosed the issue stating we needed to get the main sewer line ( about 1-3 feet) replaced and they would need to dig a huge hole in the basement and etc.. Estimate was more than a small car. I called around to a few other companies and got more expensive quotes. I called A1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer Services - Plumbing Contractor & Plumbing Installation and he came out the same night ( last tuesday) and gave me a resonable quote for the same services. When I tell you I am so glad I called this man. My house is 70 years old and my family has lived here for 26 years. This sewer line was CLOGGED... his team dug the hole, replaced the pipes, cleaned them out and discovered tree roots and 4 feet of stuff that shall not be named. He & his team installed a cleanout in case this happened again we wouldn't have an issue getting it cleaned. This company hands down had excellent service and the owner was respectful, nice and delivered what he promised plus a 10 year warranty ."

"Out of the three basement waterproofing experts we called to offer solutions after getting a lot of water in the basement of our 1925 home, Joe at The Real Seal was the only one who seemed to take serious time in investigating the cause. He even came back a second time after we got more water in another spot to see what could be causing it and what a cost-effective solution might be. On top of that, the price was right! We never ever felt pressured into committing to the work, and they seemed confident in their skills to get the job done. Our partial interior drain tile job was finished in two days. While we can't yet vouch for the drain tile's efficacy since we haven't gotten a large spring rain yet and we're still in the process of refinishing our basement after it was demoed for this work, we expect we'll have a dry basement!"

"We have lived in our house for 10 years. Right after we moved in there was water in the crawlspace and we hired Permaseal to do drain tile. We've had no water issues for 10 years. This year we finally decided to do something about the settling in the addition and again hired Permaseal to install piers around the foundation (interior and exterior). Hugo M. and his team did an outstanding job, working through some very cold days, installing everything as planned and at each moment stopping to show us the work and the progress. The work required going through the drain tile on the interior pier locations and the team reinstalled the drain tile system before pouring the final concrete. The work was really well done and everything was left clean and picked up, which is remarkable considering the scope of the work."

"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

Was not told ahead of time that I would need to pay 408 dollars for essentially hooking up a wet vac to the end of a pipe and turning it on for thirty seconds Expected to pay $200 Actual payment was $493 Line codes from the invoice S-Service Call $85.00 S-Blow Out Condensate Drain $408.00 DESCRIPTION OF WORK / RECOMMENDATIONS from vendor Condensate pvc drain clogged with sludge & slime. Cleared condensate drain with nitrogen & vacuum. Unit draining properly after repair. 0ppm co reading. No gas leaks found. Customer recently had a cc completed. All ok at departure. Recommendation is that if you need this service performed is to get a quote in writing from the vendor ahead of time or just get a shop vac and do it yourself. Will not recommend although would like to hear vendor response as to how this poor customer experience could work better. (UPDATE): The Vendor has reached out to try and mitigate the cost and is much appreciated."

"The estimator (Kaz) was prompt, informative, and responsive to my many queries before I signed a contract. The project manager and workers were all very prompt, professional, and courteous. They were respectful of our property and that of our neighbors, taking off their shoes when inside and cleaning up their work. I asked them to run an additional line from one of my downspouts, which was done without incident. We also worked together to problem solve an issue related to the sump discharge line. On day 1, they cut our buried cable line because it was marked incorrectly. However, the foreman called the company and it was resolved/fixed within a few hours (it has taken more than a day in the past when I’ve called!). I was quite surprised at how they cleaned up after excavating for the 6 inch drainage pipes. They estimated 5 days to complete the work and finished in 3 days. While I was not excited to spend that much to fix the problem, we knew we needed to address the improper drainage. Additionally, while I feel that I know what needed to be done and probably could have done so myself for less money, it would have taken me 3 months, not 3 days with my schedule. Overall, I’ve been pleased with the work and may have them come back and address an additional drainage issue in our yard in the future."
