We are a growing company with 23 employees. We collect payment at the time of service for Service Calls and Change Orders and collect a bid acceptance fee at the time a job is sold with the remainder spaced out in one or two payments that are due at the time of the rough in and/or finish.

"Hotwire failed St. Louis County electrical inspection 3 times, on our kitchen update. Show up consistently late on the job."

Needing construction work done in or around your home? Looking for a business you can trust, with work you can be proud of for the right price? Call today for your free estiments. BBB Accredited business. A + rating

"Completely unsatisfactory work done which resulted in this company being released from our project. The poor workmanship has resulted in at least two weeks worth of repairs just to make the house function properly. This company would be gone for days to a week at a time from our jobsite & unskilled workers were not supervised. The owner does not return phone calls & has lied on several occasions. This company received money in which no materials have been received & refuses to return the money. All around a horrible experience that I do not want anyone else to have to go thru."

My company thrives on getting our jobs done on the scheduled time aloud We do not use sub-contractors, we use our own professional employees We accept all major credit cards Senior citizens discount and 10% off for first time customers 3 year warranty automatically on labor + manufacturers warranty licensed , bonded , insured 24 hr service calls accepted

"Received a reasonably priced quote to update all plumbing and electrical. His pricing was way too expensive for simple carpentry and drywall. So, I did not accept his bid for that portion of the project. His pricing included permits though he only purchased the permit for the electrical work. Because his plumbing subcontractor quit on him last minute walking into my project. I was never informed of this. Drains were not sealed appropriately and I was having to hire other plumbers to come back in and rework all of the issues Mike Derickson and his crew at "Built Wright Construction" caused. He was never on time and caused my Drywallers schedule issues pushing the complete time line further out than expected. He nickle and dimed was should have been part of his pricing quote and even told me the city was requiring me to complete a new water service to the house. I told him I could not afford that and he said he would talk to the inspector "they were good friends" so that the project could move forward. HE DIDN'T PURCHASE A PERMIT! SO, what Inspector was he going to make good with. By the time the project was completed he had caused me to spend $5,000 more on "new code" BS. Don't hire this guy...RUN!!!"

Garages questions, answered by experts

You can expect your seal to last anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Several factors affect this—material, frequency of use, and the weather. For example, seals made from high-quality rubber are built to withstand the elements and can go the distance with a little TLC. If your door sees a lot of action or faces extreme heat or cold, the seal could wear out more quickly. Regular maintenance—like cleaning and lubrication—can make your seal last longer. And while it’s rare, a professionally installed seal on a smooth floor can potentially last up to 10 years.

Having a garage can increase the value of your home considerably, even if the garage isn't considered living space. Many people own cars and want a secure place to park their vehicles when they are home.

If you decide to finish your garage and convert it into living space, you may affect your home's value. The livable space may increase your home's square footage, which can help its value. But, giving up the garage space may also negatively affect the sale price of your home.

Garage door replacement costs around $1,200 on average, with prices ranging from $250 to $4,500, depending on a few factors. The size and material of your garage door are the most important cost factors to consider, as some materials—like wood composite—can easily cost two to three times what an aluminum garage door would total. Larger garage doors will also drive up your material and labor costs, especially if you’re also installing new hardware and garage door openers. It’s best to get a customized estimate from a local garage door installer for your project.

Yes, upgrading a garage can increase home value. Simply having a garage on your property, whether it’s attached or detached, makes your home more valuable. A garage remodel can give you around 80% ROI, though it depends on the type of remodel you do. Converting your garage to a living space can provide significantly higher returns.

The lifespan of a hurricane garage door depends on several factors, such as the quality of the materials, how well it's maintained, and the local weather conditions. As a rule of thumb, most hurricane garage doors can last anywhere from 15 to 30 years or more with proper care. However, if you start to see visible damage, the garage door becomes noisier, or you experience difficulty operating it, it may be time for a replacement.
