"I can't stress those reading this enough to never use Corwin for any type of work. My experience from them the past few weeks has been nothing short of the worst customer service of any sort I have ever experience. They were subcontracted by my contractor to do the framing and drywall for a basement job. The first 3 weeks and basically 90% of the work had been ok. The last 4 weeks have been nothing short of miserable. There was one area or ceiling left to finish which I paid the day they were allegedly done. That was a terrible move on my part because they were not done at all and left the ceiling an unfinished mess. This isn't even getting into the $6000 in overages they charged me for work that was agreed upon before the job even started. Yes, there was some additional work that was requested as the job progressed. But when I saw the newly updated quote with an additional $6k, I was shocked. But after some discussion and a few hundred dollars knocked off, I still paid them their balance only to be sitting here weeks later with an unfinished portion of ceiling and a newly noticed not plum window opening that Corwin tried to say they were not at fault then tried to blame their laborers. Now fast forward to late last week when I spoke to the owner who agreed to pay me back a sum of money that we agreed upon due to the issues at hand. I then get an email telling me their lawyer will reach out to me. What an absolute joke of a company and I will gladly take this to court. DO NOT USE CORWIN. "I went to Angi to look for someone to put a small door up on an opening in the wall above my staircase in the living room. The closest I could get to what I needed done was drywall install. So that’s the listing I asked for with Angi. I got 2 companies. I requested quotes from both companies , but neither one responded with a quote. I received a text from someone about the job I needed done. I never got a name from the person that texted me or the company he worked for. In my haste to get the job set up I didn’t ask his name or what company he worked for. He asked me to send pictures of the job I wanted done and I did that and he quoted me a price of $ 220.00. I accepted. We texted back and forth ma couple times more for what day and time to do it. In all those texts I never got a name for him or the company he worked for. I saved the texts back and forth between us and when I did not have a receipt for the work done I used our texts to one another to reach out with another text about needing a receipt. Instead I got a call back from a quite rude person that when I answered she said what’s going on here. She did not identify herself to me or why she was calling me at first. She never did identify herself to me but I finally figured out that she was calling about the text I sent about needing a receipt. She was concerned that I wasn’t happy with the work done. I told her that was Okay, but I needed a receipt for the work done because I didn’t get one. She seemed pretty dismissive of me when she found out that’s all I needed. I told her that I had to have a receipt and that it had to have the Company name address and phone number on it, had to have what the job was that I hired them to do on it, how much they quoted as the price, what form I paid them with ( it was paid in cash), date the work was done, that the work was fully completed and that it was paid with cash and paid in full. She said she could do that and I thanked her for her time. She also told me that they were the company that did the work at my home, she read off my address to me. So I’ve been waiting for a receipt to show up in my mail and so far I have not received it. The company I believe that did this job for me is; LDM Tile and Remodeling LLC. I’m going to include the phone number that I received the texts from about the job. That number is:1 708 639 5493. I have no idea who this person is or what the name is for this person"

"Alberto came only on Sundays for a few hours , took him around 2 months to finish ,every time he left the basement was dirty, when he left he said it was ready to paint but the walls and ceiling had to be dusted so the paint would adhere to the drywall, there are cracks in the ceiling joints and humps on the walls which probably need to be sanded again, and when I call him he doesn't respond. He finally came by and told me something totally different than what he said to get the job. He told me he wasn't going to repair his shoddy work. DO NOT USE HIM (I believe he gives his wife's name and number as a reference)"

Showed up on time and had my living, dining room, hall and foyer, and 2 bedrooms done in one week. I will recommend them to everyone and would hire them again."
