"Very professional, kept line of communication open. Arrived on time & ready to do the job. Would highly recommend. Railroad ties are no easy job loading and finding approved landfill - TD service did both with no problems! Pricing is reasonable and fair! Highly recommend"

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

"I?ll start by saying I know Lifted is a brand new business trying to get off the ground. I hired Lifted through Angi?s List as my 1st cleaning experience. They were ~30minutes late to arrival, but did call to notify me they would be late. Two people came and were very nice, took 4hrs+ to deep clean about 800sqft. They did a great job but when it came time to pay, I was originally quoted $200 but the gentlemen/owner said $250 because he couldn?t remember what he told me. I thought ok fine they were at my house a long time, so I was trying to be generous and gave him $300 cash. I was hoping if I tipped them, they would know I appreciate their work and want to be taken care of in the next visit and beyond for a long term partnership. Before they left, we scheduled their next visit to clean. The week of my scheduled visit, I texted them saying I needed to move my appointment due to a new schedule conflict. I never received a text back and they never showed up for the scheduled time."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Once you complete the moving process, you’ll have to transition into paying for your new living expenses, including monthly rent or mortgage payments. You should also consider the cost of property taxes, utilities, and new furnishings for your home.

Small vans, box trucks, and portable storage containers are options. Choose based on the size and type of move.

No, you can’t throw anything in a dumpster. For example, organic waste should not be thrown in a dumpster. While you can throw recyclable materials in a dumpster, it is encouraged to separate them and properly recycle them for the sake of the environment.

Pouring chemicals down the sink or toilet is a bad idea. In large amounts, they can damage plumbing and septic system. Tossing them in the trash can cause leaks, harmful fumes, and other problems, too.

Pouring chemicals onto the ground or nearby storm drains is also not recommended. Toxic chemicals can leak into nearby plants, lawns, or even water sources. It’s also illegal to pour out certain substances like used motor oil. Instead, schedule a trip to a local dropoff site for household hazardous wastes. Most local government websites can give you information on where to dispose of these substances.

When deciding what order to pack your home, starting with non-essential items such as seasonal decor, rarely used kitchenware, and extra linens is always a smart idea. Next, pack decorations and out-of-season clothing. Then move to kitchen items, electronics, and bathroom supplies, leaving essentials for last. Finally, pack a "first-night" box with must-haves like toiletries, clothes, and essential documents.
