"For the 1st job, the 2 person team arrived a couple minutes late (they said it took a little longer than expected loading the truck with everything needed) on Thursday. The lead person - Greg - worked inside while the other - Matt -  worked outside. Getting the old windows out was time consuming while putting the new ones in (we had some special set ups) went far more quickly.The team stayed on task only stopping for lunch. As the first day was getting into mid afternoon, Greg told me that the weather forecast was calling for rain. He suggested that they quit removing windows and focus on finishing the work around the big ones they had put in so far. The reason was that he wanted to be sure that all the new windows were completed so that if it rained, nothing would seep into the walls. This is where the outside guy - Matt - shined.He completed the exterior work on these large windows and when he finished the exterior looked better than prior to their starting. Greg's interior work was also very good.I had to leave town the next day so I told them we would have to complete the change over Monday of the next week. The response was "no problem" and a time was set. They returned ahead of schedule that Monday and completed their work.

It is important to note that they may have been able to finish the windows the first day but they suggested extending it and returning because they did not want weather damage. The bad weather did not happen as forecasted but I appreciated their concern.

These windows are excellent. They have dramatically cut down the outside sounds. As I type this review the winds are howling outside as the trees blow wildly to the high level gust. However the noise heard at my deck which is next to the largest window put in is almost nothing - a dramatic change from the old ones. The windows also improve the privacy in our house (visually)! The gases in between the window panes reduces the view from the outside in.

The 2nd job was also completed by Greg and Matt in one day. Again it was excellent work and they remained on task throughout the day. They finished the windows and put the new screen door on. These windows are as good as the 1st job. In fact, my wife and I feel their final work, and the windows, improved the appearance and marketability of our house.

I got used to opening my front door and finding their crews working. They were here for about a week and I never even had to clean up after them. What a marvel! "We have just had AOM complete work on our home. If you are on the fence about using this company, I hope this review helps. The interior of our home had not been painted since it was built (about 2003). It still had the flat contractors paint and some areas were looking decidedly worse for wear.Being pregnant with a toddler on the loose, we decided not to attempt the painting ourselves. I commenced obtaining quotes. Generall,y when having work of any kind done on our home or appliances, I prefer to go with a company that has been recommended to us by friends or family we trust. So we had a number of companies from around the local area come to give us quotes. However, I spotted AOM on Angie's List and was intrigued by their offers and more importantly, the reviews people gave them.I decided to call them for a quote. Well, they were super fast in getting back to me and David offered to come out the next day to provide a quote. After a walk through and explanation of what we needed, he was able to quote me on the spot.We had a relatively tight schedule to get the painting done. We decided to have it done whilst we were away overseas. Certain past experiences have left me largely mistrustful of giving my home over to anyone while I am away, but after chatting with David and Ashly, the owners of AOM, I felt confident that we were in good hands. We were leaving in less than a month and needed the work done by the time we got back. No pressure. Ashly and David were fantastic in fitting on with our schedule requests. Ashly was so great in helping us to decide on exact colors to match our general idea of a color scheme, coming over more than once to put up paint swatches in the different rooms in different areas so we would be able to tell how it would look regardless of time of day. I can't tell you how many color samples we tried before we made our final choices. My mother in law was gracious enough to offer to be on hand to help out with daily concerns, and the AOm team worked so well with her. She was completely impressed - not an easy feat with her! Before we left we had constant communication with Ashly, who even helped me choose paint scents.While we were away, we got regular updates, with pictures from AOm as well as an online work board so I would be completely in the loop with the work done/to be done. We returned the day before yesterday and LOVE the work they have done. We are so incredibly happy and impressed with the work they did. They did all our ceilings,our walls, fixed cracks and dents where needed,painted the walls and to my absolute delight, managed to get my dinged baseboards and door frames looking like new again.They also took care of the smaller details, like kindly replacing globes they saw had blown out. Today, David came by for a walk through to ensure we were happy with everything. There were a few minor things that he fixed right there on the spot. Needless to say, all their fantastic reviews are well deserved.They work hard, work smart, have integrity, and are so very accommodating to their customer's needs. That they are also trustworthy is a huge thing for me , and I suspect that anyone having work done in their home, whilst they might not be about at all times, will understand this. Give them a call - you will not be sorry. Oh, and their quote? A fraction of the cost we were quoted by the others. We intend on using them for all projects in the future."

"We hired Brian to waterproof our basement last year but this year, we received a heavy rainstorm that created massive flooding around the area. Everything Brian waterproofed was bone dry but there was an exit door entry way that we never even considered waterproofing. The door held back most of the water but it managed to get in through the cracks of the door. 

I contacted multiple companies that night and the next morning, but Brian was the only one who responded back first thing in the morning. He agreed to meet us at our house to assess the problem, and we appreciated that he arrived quickly. After evaluating multiple options, Brian told us that we needed a sump pump and drain tile installed to permanently fix this problem. He initially scheduled us for the next Monday, but after understanding our urgency, he bumped us up to the next day. The workers arrived when he said they would, and the work was completed the same day in the afternoon. Thank you to Brian and his company for being so accommodating, being there when we needed him, and completing the work promptly.

After some heavy rains, we noticed that we were still getting some seepage in our "waterproofed" basement. After contacting Brian (for our lifetime warranty or whatever), he said he would come out. He then proceeded to cancel/make an excuse the next 3-4 appointments. Then he just stopped responding to emails/calls. We're very disappointed because we really liked Brian. Now we have to open the walls to see where the seepage is coming in and call someone else to seal them."
