John was here to help take care of a well issue. He and another employee were here less than an hour. We were told by John that our bill wouldn’t be close to $900 and they would bill us. We received a bill for over $800 with a $500 dollar labor charge. When I called and spoke with Travis his reason for the high labor charge was they had to “prepare” the tuck and we were charged labor the minute they started loading their truck to come to our home which is a 15 min drive. Travis was rude and stated he doesn’t care about reviews and he has plenty of other customers . I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone or any job due to their outrageous labor charge. Travis is extremely rude and doesn’t need any more customers according to him so I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

at my house . He never finished the job and still wanted more money that he didn't have coming to him until the jib was completed . still not finished. I will never have him do any work for me.

We are still waiting at this time to figure out our next move. I can say he will not get another dime of my money!

I was in a nursing home at the time recovering from a broken hip.  It was below 0 and our furnace went out.  My husband was out of the country, so I was trying to deal with this all over the phone.  EPH went out to the house, did their work, opened doors so pipes wouldn't freeze, and generally did what I would have done, had I been at home - and all this was well after 6:00pm.  They went above and beyond just "the job."  I was very appreciative of their efforts!!!

A previous plumber (now out of business) had repaired a leaky pipe years ago, but he merely put plumbers tape on it (which we didn't know till years later, when it caused a major mold problem in the house). EPH fixed it, and also repaired some faulty sewer pipes for us. We were very impressed with their skill and thoroughness!

Every thing went well. Very professional.

After Mark looked at the unit, he told us we had a bad element and a bad seal. We had this issue last year (another bad element & seal), so Mark recommended that we get a new tank-style water heater. He then gave us a rough estimate for the purchase and installation of a new unit. He was in our house less than 10 minutes, yet we had to pay the full $70 service call fee. About 5-6 hours after he left, we realized we didn't have any hot water. My husband and I decided we would be ok without hot water until Friday (it was after-hours on Wednesday, and the next day was Thanksgiving). At 7:30 a.m. Friday morning, I called EPH, thinking they would be opening soon and someone would call me back. I left a message explaining my problem and asked for a return phone call. As of 9:30 a.m., I still had not received a phone call, so I called again. Their answering machine message gave an emergency number, so I called that number. No one answered that either, so I left another message. By 11:15 a.m., we had still not received a call from them. By this time, I was angry. Before Mark came to by Wednesday, he'd called from his cell phone to make sure we were home, so I looked at my caller ID and located his number. I called Mark's cell phone at about 11:15 a.m. practically begging for a return phone call- or better yet, a visit to inspect the heater. It is now 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, and I still have not received a phone call from anyone at EPH. I am thoroughly disgusted by this whole situation. If they would have given me a simple phone call and told me this was an issue they couldn't handle or wanted to set up an appointment, I would have been upset but I would've got over it. As it is, I have to wait until Monday to call another plumbing company to come in and correct the problem EPH created. I am very tempted to call my bank first thing Monday morning and place a stop payment order on the check I used to pay the service fee. I will never use this company again.

It didn't happen.

We were having a problem with our dryer venting and when i called EPH to get a workman over, they were very responsive. They checked everything and cleaned all the drains.When those were cleaned, the workman inspected the dryer vents trying to find a blockage in it. The workman tried many different things before telling me that it would require access to the crawl space which was blocked. The workman then explained and drew in detail what would need to be built for the dryer to be fixed. He then talked me through the whole process and explained everything clearly.
