Nick was out the same day to give me a quote and Dane was out the next day to start work. He found some rot behind the siding and we needed to do a bit more extensive repairs than planned. Dane (who was using only one hand due to surgery) was somehow able to do the structural repair and the siding in just 2 days. He did a great job and the new siding looks great with the new patio. "The craftsmanship is excellent. The time it took to finish the project exceeded expectations. The budget was also greatly exceeded. If possible, monitor and try to control the communications with the building inspector as they could inadvertantly steer you in the wrong direction. The primary reason for the negatives is that Roman had no experience with the product and the product creates many challenges for the carpenter/installer. Those negatives aside, the work outcome as I first stated is excellent. Roman is a stickler for measuring and doing things right all while learning the product on the job. The deck is beautiful."

"The job was just to replace the panels on the fence in the backyard. Robert came out for an estimate and told me that the posts were fine and I only had to get new panels and he'd put them up. We set an appt for 8:00. At 8:45 that morning, I had to call to see if he was coming. He said he was on his way. Having made special arrangements to be here at 8:00, this lack of communication and punctuality really irritated me. Rob finally showed after 9:00. He didn't stop in to say he was here - he just got to work. I'm glad I didn't have any special instructions for the job! In the end, the fence looks nice. It is almost all level side to side but not really front to back. I assume that this is because the posts are no longer square - a fact that I would have appreciated having been notified about and given the opportunity to rectify. All in all, this is a passing job because you really can't tell by looking at the fence that there is anything wrong. And the cost was so much lower than any other estimate that I got that it's hard to complain."
