"Sameena, I sincerely apologize for your experience. Although we strive to exceed our clients' expectations, we never negotiate prices after signing a contract. We always provide a formal written scope of work, detailed plans and a comprehensive list of all the materials. We take these steps to guarantee that the project will turn out exactly as planned, and our unique process provides our client with the project's total cost before the contract is signed. Nonetheless, you continuously paid less than the amount invoiced throughout the project and repeatedly requested discounts without reason. Every time, we reiterated that we fulfilled our obligation by completing the work for which we were hired, and that we require payment in full for the services rendered. This was a major project with one deposit payment and nine progressive invoices, all of which were outlined in the contract. Although we were underpaid seven times, we continued working to make progress and fulfill our obligations. The delays you mentioned were due to unforeseen damages as the result of the shipping from the manufacturer and for that, we do apologize. Unfortunately, this was beyond our control and we did our best to ensure that replacement parts were expedited as quickly as possible. Once they were received, we were onsite in less than 24 hours to replace what was damaged. To ensure the project would surpass your expectations, we went beyond our contractual obligation to install additional tile, repair uneven floors, and paint an extra room at no additional cost. Upon completion of the project, you again wrote a check for less than the amount due, at which point I requested payment in full. Calling the police to avoid making the final payment was entirely unnecessary. Even so, we still sent our superintendent to review the project with you to ensure you were completely satisfied. If there is anything at all that does not meet your expectation, please let us know so we can get it resolved immediately."
