"It was our third time using The Handy Veteran and it will not be the last. Kevin and his team are absolutely top notch! Our first job with Kevin was to replace and paint all of the wood and trim in our entire house, replace carpet with LVP flooring on a third of the floors in our 3000sqf home, refaced our fireplace, install a new front door, & paint the entire house. Second job was to repair and paint our large deck. This last job was to replace more floors, remodel our guest bathroom and hang multiple lights fixtures. Our first job was in 2020 and the initial work they did is still perfect. Kevin stands by his work. He is not satisfied until the job is done right and was extremely accommodating to all of our requests. He wanted us satisfied and happy with the work and even made some great suggestions that really enhanced the final outcome. Him and his team are extremely respectful of our time, professional, friendly and trustworthy. Also very fair with their pricing! "

"We had an exterior door to our garage that would not close/latch properly and therefore presented a security risk. I called multiple companies for quotes and explained we'd like to try repairing the door first, but are open to replacing it if necessary. He came by the very next day after I called, immediately found core problem with the door (simple loose screws in the hinges) and fixed then and there. The fix was so simple, he didn't even charge us. I so appreciate that Robert wasn't trying to scam us into a bigger more expensive project of replacing the entire door. He is honest and quickly finds the root of the problem. We will be hiring Robert's company exclusively moving forward for our various projects around the house. Feeling so lucky to have found him! "BEWARE of this company!!! Everything started out great, the staff was initially incredibly responsive and came out for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable and competitive to a 2nd bid I had received, and I was offered a $500 discount and a commitment that the work would be done in 1.5 days if I signed the contract in 24 hours. I went ahead and signed the estimate. That is when the problems started.... The project manager (Moses) was completely non-responsive as to when the work would be completed. They were provided access to my home, yet never contacted me to let me know when they would arrive or when work would be completed. 3 weeks later, I still did not have a response on work completion and Moses stopped answering my messages and would not answer my calls. Finally, after calling the office (which is always closed and has an outdated voicemail response that hasn't been updated since Oct. 3rd) , I received a call from the technician. He tells me that work is complete, and that he'll be doing a walk through in a few days. Today, he calls to tell me he is there , but he doesn't know where the main gas line is and he can't figure out how to get gas to the fireplace. Ok, interesting... I call my gas company because we have working hot water and have been paying our gas bill and they tell me gas is entering the home. I tell this to technician, who tells me, well, that's too bad, they don't know what the problem is and that is my problem to solve, the work is complete on their end. How is work complete, if you have hooked up a gas fireplace , but can't figure out how to get gas to it? Isn't this something you would confirm BEFORE doing work? I can't get in touch with anyone in charge at the office and I am honestly shocked that anyone could have had a positive experience with this company."
