Promptly and professionally did the work at a reasonable price (lower and faster than estimated) without a problem. Would suggest that a mask be worn during pandemic. Nice overall experience.

Within 72 hours of contacting Jim. the kitchen floor was stripped, and the materials removed leaving a clean worksite for the floor installers. Jim disconnected & removed the dishwasher, offering to return later in the week to reinstall it. Jim is a personable, knowledgable, experienced, ethicl,competent and careful workman. I'm very pleased with his work.

They did excellent work for me 2-3 years ago, However, this time I left 2 messages and was never called back. A relative of mine had the same experience.

Overall it went fantastically well. The room is large: 18x22’ and involved a lot of tedious work. This was more of a restoration and required attention to detail. Everything was done right. Scott is a master at plaster repair. The room sparkles now!

Everything came out very as expected.

2-man crew included a carpenter and another technically proficient person; proceeded with the work in a very professional manner all the way to completion. They came on time with all the tools needed for the job at hand. Completed the work in 3 hours with flawless execution of different steps.

Was able to inprove their movement so that we could use them.

We spoke on the phone and a man came out to go over the list before pricing. He walked around and looked at each item, taking pictures and discussing what he would do. He left and we never heard from him again! We waited a little while and then left a message but received no call back.

The initial interactions with Jim were extremely positive. He was one of three quotes I obtained. His price was somewhat higher than I had planned for but I told him I was the most impressed with him. He was able to bring the price down to my range. Jim came in and took the measurements of both closets, and commented the openings were not standard as it's an older home. He said this wouldn't be problem, they would cut the doors down to size. When the day arrived to install his carpenter was unable to install the doors as they were too large. His carpenter told me he would have to go back and cut the doors down to size. I was shocked and told him that Jim and I had discussed this very fact at the onset?? A week later he was back to install the closet doors, one set was bi-fold, the other pulled out like a standard door. It required two full days for the carpenter to install both sets of doors and complete the trim. The doors look really nice, but I'm surprised at how much effort it took to complete what should have been a simple job. Additionally, at the end of the first day, the carpenter told me Jim would call to schedule day 2. Two days went by and I didn't hear from Jim so I called him to schedule the 2nd day. I realize this job became more than expected, but my impression based on the fact Jim became reserved, was it was my fault. I didn't build the house, nor did I change the size of the closet door openings midway through the project???

This was a very small job, but Jim was very professional and responsive to my inquiry. With some suggestions from Jim I was able to do the job myself. I hope to have the opportunity in the future to work with him.

great--Owner Jim Stewart was very helpful with drawing up plans for the built-in unit. In addition all the workmen were neat and professional. The unit was built and installed exactly s we wanted. They kept us informed during the whole process. Reliable and professionable.

The gentleman arrived on time, had all his own supplies and what he needed he ran to nearby Home Depot to get with no issues. He used the garage area to do all of his cutting. The only thing he did not do was clean up the area after cutting so there is drywall and wood pieces all throughout the garage.

Went well but the gentleman worked considerably slower than I would have liked him to.

It went very well- Jim came out to scope out the project, having to go into the crawl space of both the house and the studio to determine where the water lines ran from/to. He then sent out two gentlemen needed to ensure one could turn on the water and one could look for leaks etc. They determined where a major water leak was from-- my next steps are to replace a faucet and re-observe if there is any further water draining from that point. They were timely, polite and explained things to me in a manner I could understand.

The master carpenter was great and problem solved the issue where the top of the stairs met the new wood floor. However, there was a second young man who he appeared to be teaching, more of an apprentice. I paid for 4 hours of carpentry, and it took them three. When they were done they made me pay for the extra time, since they said it was really 2 hours for 2, so 2 hours of work and they both worked 3. The master could have done it in 2.5 without the teaching. I will not use them again. .

Jim and his staff went above and beyond to do all the odd jobs on my list to get them done timely and to the best of their ability. I have called him since to help with things the buyers want and even though he is busy, he has come and helped take care of those as well. I also have asked him advice on my future home purchase as I trust his work and his opinion.

It went great. They did our front hall, painting and doing some drywall. I paid more than the big deal but I had more work done, I actually had the room painted.

Great. I had more work done so I did spend more on the deal. Whatever the amount is more than the drywall is because I had them paint as well. The painting was $1400. They were here right before the beginning of May. I would absolutely use their services again in the future if need be.
