Joe explained the entire process to me, while the crew blocked off all the vents, tested my system (I had 40% leakage) and then applied the Aeroseal to my ductwork. The sealing brought that figure down to just 3% and that was before Danny caulked the gaps between the vents and the drywall before replacing the grilles. (I can actually hear a difference in the airflow when the heat comes on.) All three guys were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and meticulous in their prep and cleanup. "I recently moved into a house with almost no insulation in the attic. I called Randy to come out and give me an estimate based on blowing 16" of cellulose to an R64. I also needed attic baffles installed and to air seal my attic. Randy's quote was very competitive and he knew his stuff. Randy and Mike came out on the scheduled date right on time. They did a great job completing the job. Randy had initially estimated 75 bags of cellulose for my attic but due to the lack of insulation they ended up going through some extra bags of insulation but did not charge me for them. "It went really well. Robert Carroll really knows his stuff. Hire this guy. I say that without reservation of any kind. Don't look any further, believe me, I did. This is the smartest guy. He is honest, dependable, offers fair pricing, and his team can do all the work. I got several estimates from A+ rated insulation companies, but Robert was more knowledgeable than the other companies. He was the only one to point out that my soffits were not vented. Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! I asked some of the other A+ companies if they would vent the soffits and they all said they don't do that work, but they would be happy to add more insulation, which would not fix the problem if the attic was not vented."

"We reached out to Dan with the issue of freezing pipes and cold rooms in our old house. Dan inspected the house and proposed a plan to remedy these issues. Aside from the more traditional air sealing and insulation solutions, Dan also recommended insulating the area of our house above our soffit, which was difficult to access but that appeared to be a major insulation issue. I should add the other firms we requested quotes for did not identify this area in their proposal. I firmly believe the proposals from the other firms would not have fixed our issues. Dan worked for ~2 weeks on air sealing our attic and house, adding insulation to our attic, removing our soffit and adding insulation and reinstalling soffit. Work was done well and within budget and at a fair price. Dan is very easy to work with and takes pride in his work.
