"The technician did a good job. We had gutters cleaned and a patio pressure washed but my issue is with the company. I sent them two emails and a follow up and nobody contacted me. I set an appointment for early Saturday and they on Friday that someone was on their way. I had to call to remind them that the appointment was for early Saturday morning. They said ok and then arrived around 11AM and I had to leave. When I called to schedule the service, I was quoted $220. I questioned the price and I was told that we had a big house, so I said OK. We ended up with a bill for $224 plus an email bill for $236 on 10/25/2020 which was actually a bill from a year ago. So I had three prices for our job. I also had an Angies list coupon that the technician said he could not honor as it was not a complete job. He told this to my spouse but I could not be there to correct his misconception as it absolutely was supposed to be a complete gutter cleaning. I sent two emails explaining the above and never heard from anyone. I even called to discuss this but still no response. Again, I was satisfied with the work but I don't think I would use them again. So, and A grade for work and an F for other issues, so I averaged it to a C."

"We had been dealing with a roof leak at our home and had several different companies come out to give us quotes. Unfortunately, replacing the entire roof was not within our budget. All Available Roofs was the only company willing to work with us and provide a reasonable solution to repair the roof. We are extremely happy with the work! Brandon was very professional, honest, and communicative. He explained exactly what work needed to be done and made sure we understood everything before completing the repairs. Since the repair, we’ve had several rainstorms and, thankfully, not a single leak! We truly appreciate the quality of the work and the excellent customer service. We highly recommend All Available Roofs to anyone looking for a reliable and professional roofing company!"

"Mike Jentel did an outstanding job of repairing and painting our kitchen ceiling that had received water damage from water leaking from the upstairs bathroom. He used plastic sheets to protect the kitchen area and did an excellent clean up job. He drove to the paint shop to get the exact color paint needed. This was fine service for a very reasonable cost."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

It’s not necessary, but you can absolutely use soap or detergent when pressure washing your house. Washing with a mixture of soap and water will ensure your siding is spotless when you’re finished. However, in many cases it is not necessary to use soap and you can still achieve a powerful result without any product.

The white nozzle is your best choice for power washing indoors. The white nozzle, or the 40-degree nozzle, comes with a pressure even lower than the standard green nozzle but still has enough force to clean the surface. It works great for painted and wooden surfaces. It also doesn’t damage more delicate materials like ceramic or tiles. However, avoid pressure washing delicate furniture, caulking, and other surfaces that require more tendered touches than regular surfaces.

A pressure washer’s size or power is measured in pounds per square inch (PSI). The amount of pressure you need will depend on your project and the material you’re washing, but consumer pressure washers range from 500 to 2,400 PSI. Porous materials like brick and stucco should not be blasted with anything stronger than 1,000 PSI, while you can use a PSI of up to 2,400 to clean a vinyl fence.

Pressure washing shou sugi ban siding is generally not a good idea. The charring process used in creating shou sugi ban siding involves burning the wood's surface to achieve its unique appearance and enhanced durability. The charred surface is delicate, and pressure washing can easily damage it. Instead of pressure washing, you can clean it with a soft brush or broom to remove loose debris, followed by a mixture of mild soap and water applied with a soft cloth or sponge.

Brick takes longer to dry than less porous materials like concrete. If you are waiting to spot clean, a full day of mild weather should do the trick. If you are waiting to paint or apply a finish or sealant, give it three to four days to ensure the brick is absolutely dry as a bone. You don’t want any residual moisture whatsoever before laying down paint or sealant.
