"The team was very professional from start to finish. They communicated their arrival window in advance, were friendly and pleasant throughout their time in our home, and even offered to remove the old fixtures so I wouldn't have to scramble to figure out how to dispose of them. I'll be keeping their information handy for future work!"

"PJ Construction was wonderful to work with and did exceptional work in my home.  Paul always arrived on time, worked diligently and answered all of my questions about the projects.  He even did a great job of cleaning up all of that drywall dust!  If it weren't for the noise from the equipment, I wouldn't have even know they were there!  They did a great job on our projects and I will definitely be using PJ Construction again in the future."

"Sam is a skilled plumber, electrician, installs kitchen cabinets, drywall, framing, and can repair just about anything. Truly "handy" because his hours are 7 AM to 7 PM, weekends if need be and an occasional holiday if an emergency arises. He works with other professionals so no project is too big, or too little."

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on equipment size, site preparation, and additional features like soft ground covering.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.

In most cases, yes, an outdoor living space adds value to your home. The trick to your best return on investment is to choose high-quality building materials that will look nice and durable without crossing the line into total luxury that becomes cost-ineffective. For example, there’s no need to install marble tiles around your pool, but a durable and aesthetically pleasing deck will go a long way.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.
