"I emailed Mal early Thursday morning and a piece of my soffit fascia had fallen off the second story of my house. He called me back within a couple of hours, but we kept missing each other. He finally called at dinner time and talked to him. He agreed to come to the house the next day to see what needed to be done. He arrived at the time he said he would, gave a fair estimate for the immediate work, but also said he will have his men look at all the soffit and put in nails as needed. He said his men would be able to get to the house sometime the following week. However, he called back 20 minutes later and said the job his men was working fished early and they would be at my house within 30 minutes. They put the missing piece back and then checked out the remainder of the house so this problem wouldn't happen again. So basically in 36 hours I contacted Mal and he completed the work even during this busy spring time. I would definitely use Professional Home Improvement again and recommend his service to anyone."

What I was actually most pleased with is that they took their time to do the job right--for example, staining the banister requires thorough drying between coats, and rather than rush the job, they patiently waited a day in between coats to make sure it took properly. They did the windows, but they never gave me an estimate to determine if I wanted it done. They did deliver the wrong window, but they were very good about ordering another window. They did work for me last year. I don't think the price was too much. They came late. I've used them twice now. I used them even though their responsiveness was not that great."
