"Scott and crew were very professional & friendly. They showed up to work a planned half day to find the bad pipe. After not locating the pipe in the location we had hoped, Scott & crew waited while my husband and helper removed cabinets so they could continue the job on past the agreed upon time, working well in to the evening to find, diagnose and replace the bad pipe. Scott offered us SEVERAL options to fix our issue (which wasn't an entirely easy fix), allowing us to decide which route we wanted to take. Every step of the way, Scott asked BEFORE doing any work. Scott provided a price range before the job began, so we had a general idea of the scope of work. At the end of the day, the work came back on the high end of the estimate, to be expected with the scope of the job and the hours he and his crew spent at our house. Scott also offered to write a Plumbers Report for our insurance in hopes some of the work could be covered, even after an initial denial. I'm not sure if he has done this yet, but it was nice of him to offer to help us recoup some of the money based on the extensive work he and his crew had to to do get our drain working again. Homeowners insurance does not cover broken or deteriorated pipes under your concrete slab if there is no visible damage ABOVE the floor. Unfortunately, the damage left behind after digging and replacing plumbing is extremely expensive, so beware if you're on a slab and have plumbing issues due to age & deterioration. We appreciate Scott's friendly professionalism, quick response to calls & ALWAYS asking before moving on to the next step, walking us through the entire process. Would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for plumbing needs. We hope to have Scott back to tackle our bathroom remodel at a later date. "The tenants in my condo emailed me Sunday night on July 4th weekend to say that both sides of the kitchen sink had filled with black gunk after they tried to use the garbage disposal. The water / black gunk was stagnant in the sink, and the disposal didn't seem to be working.
I called multiple plumbers and most were booked up for 2-3 days because it was right after a holiday weekend. In that round of calls, I had left a message for Charlie, and he called back within the hour. He said he was booked all day but would see if he could get to the condo at the end of the day or first thing the following day.
He also happened to mention that he worked until 6 pm.  When my tenants contacted me at about 6:30 pm to say they hadn't heard from Charlie, I guessed that some jobs had run over and the day got hectic and he just couldn't get to our job. But then 5 minutes later, he actually called to say he on his way. I was impressed by that because he went out of his way to help us and worked at least two hours longer than he had planned to. That's good customer service -- and the sign of someone with a strong work ethic.
Within an hour or two, he had the sink unclogged and restored to normal -- no need to replace the garbage disposal or anything else. He called me when it was all done to explain everything, and he offered to email me an invoice. I didn't have to provide a credit card over the phone, which would have been fine but an invoice is nice, too, because I can pay it with my other bills. He even called after he send the invoice to make sure I received it.
Overall, I was impressed by his work ethic and his overall attitude. He was professional on the phone but very nice and cordial. I had called another plumbing company, and they were polite and professional but came off as a little too corporate -- almost a little cold. Charlie was the complete opposite."

They were efficient, knowledgable and extremely courteous. My father had owned his own plumbing company post WWII, and was one of the first licensed plumbers in the state of Illinois; accordingly, I watched & had many plumbing questions regarding the install. Jim & Rob patiently shared their expertice. High recommend. A great experience."
