"This was a third project with Pavercare and once again they didn't disappoint.  It happened in 2 separate work orders as once I saw what a great job they did, I wanted them to finish it all.
As an attorney, I am a half-decent landscaper :D (though nothing like these guys!).  I had put in paver bullets and rock myself when we moved into our home over 15 years ago.  With time, they sank and no amount of grass trimming made them stand out like they once had.  I had also wanted to extend paver bullets around the sidewalk they put in, but didn't have the time.  Finally, I Once again, Pavercare to the rescue!!!
The day work began, I was happy to see Gaspar arrive as I knew the work would be done far and beyond anything I'd get from another provider.  He is very easy to work with and takes direction well.  I just told him what I was looking for and he went right to it!
Once again, bushes were tied up to prevent damage, weeds were removed, no extra charge... work went as well as expected.  Neighbors were actually coming by after they left asking who did the work. I was glad to tell them!
They accidentally damaged a couple of our sprinkler heads in the process.  Gaspar was actually able to fix one of them on his own... this guy is very handy!  When I let TC know about the other, he told me to have our regular sprinkler guy come out and just take it off the bill!  Talk about customer service!
After seeing what they did, I had to have them come out to raise what I had done and expand it. Also, I hadn't got around to getting my mulching done.  We have 3/4s of an acre lot with a mulch line that follows our fence.  It is usually a 3 day job for me by myself and all I am doing is hauling and spreading mulch.  When I mentioned this to TC, he said they could help there as well!   They really made my life quite simple.
Again, our comes Gaspar and his crew again.  They had the bullets raised and extended with rock added in a couple hours, for what would have taken me 2 days of work.  They then started on the mulch... and again, went above the call of duty.  They cut in a new mulch line to make the mulch look nicer!  Took them coming back from an extra day, but the results are stunning!  I couldn't have done it better myself
THE AFTER STORY...
I noticed that they had forgot to do my garden area (they ran out of mulch) and they didn't have enough rock to finish off my upper planter... texted TC on Saturday... on Monday morning they were out and finished everything, including weed removal again, in less than 2 hours...
There is just no other way to say it... use Pavercare... they are the best!!!"

"In 2017, when I was looking to purchase a house in the Rockford area that was needing a full siding install I contacted GF Company in Belvidere. IL, who I found on Angie’s list and at that time GF Co had great reviews. Strangely enough these great reviews are no longer to be found on Angie’s List. It should also be noted there is a GF Siding in Cherry Valley. IL, this is Not the company that I did business with. Ariel Zmijewski (the owner) got me a quote quickly and I decided to purchase the house. A few months later in July 2017, I contacted Ariel again to discuss the finer points of the quote, the price was revised slightly and the Ariel mentioned that once a deposit was paid work could start 6-8 weeks later, but said the install would be finished before the cold weather arrived. I started creating a color layout and Ariel provided some feedback on what would work and not work. To this point I was very happy with progress. In September 2017 I paid a deposit of over $8k (about 44% of final price) and awaited updates for a start date. Nothing happened. In early March 2018 I contacted GF Co by phone stating that I had been very patient and they had had $8k as a deposit for the last 6 months and I had nothing to show for it. After a couple more calls and emails Ariel showed up with his foreman Mark and they said that work would start in the middle of the following week. Much to my surprise the work started on time. Over the course of the next 4 weeks Mark and his crew worked hard, only missing a few days due to bad weather, I even agreed to having some extra work done by the team, some wooden entrance steps that needed replacing for an additional $2.5k. By early May 2018 the job was finished the house looked great and I was very happy with the work and appearance and was getting compliments from neighbors too. The balance of owed of over $10k was paid with 48 hours of the work being finished. Again I was happy with work done, until… A few months after the install a TV cable box started having troubles. Cut a long story short the wall socket died because cable was suddenly defective, also the crew had moved the exterior cable input box and this didn’t help the issue. Comcast fixed it, but I now have an exterior cable showing and they had to drill through the siding. Then around Halloween 2018, less than six months after having the install completed, I noticed that a piece of siding (6ft approx.) had become detached underneath a window, trying to pop it back into place did not resolve the issue. After checking all the other exterior windows I noticed 1 other window was about to do the same thing. I called the GF Company main number and left a message with the receptionist for Ariel to contact me. No response. I called again a couple of times and left more messages still no response. In March 2019 siding problem under windows still Not fixed, I called GF Company again, no answer, and no voice mail. I called a couple more times on different days still no answer or voice mail. I then sent an email to the company and to my surprise I received a response from Ariel stating this was the first that he had heard of it. About a week later (3/26/19) he showed up at my house to view the problem. Ariel stated that he would get someone over to fix the problem, but would not give me a date or time. On 4/2/19 I emailed Ariel again asking for confirmation of a repair date ? Nothing but crickets… On 4/30/19, I sent another email to Ariel requesting that the repairs be completed before the end of May 2019, again no response. Quote / contract says: Customers will receive a Lifetime Warranty on Material and Workmanship Reported GF Company to Illinois BBB on 6/5/19."

"BUT, Im really writing a review because they could've COMPLETELY taken advantage of me and didn't. Since I had used them in the past - I trusted them. I was moving out of state and needed cleaning after we were completely out of the house. I called them, explained how they would get into the house, exactly what I needed done, pre-paid, etc.
Well, when the landlord (Pat Shodeen) caught wind that I was gone and went into the house without permission (I had paid until the first) and started doing her own things. When Chris' crew showed up to clean the carpet, as I had arranged - she sent them away but, told them she would call them to come back. (On my dime, of course) I had no idea this had gone on - I had pre-paid - and assumed everything was taken care of!  My landlord text me on the 30th and said "Your cleaning people can come back now. I did rip the carpets out but, there is a mess in the basement that they can clean instead. Do you want to call them or shall I?". WHAT??
Well, I called Chris and said "Look, I paid you guys to clean the carpets - she wasn't supposed to be in there and I have no idea what it looks like now - Im not paying to clean up her mess"He said that she had called him ALREADY to come back! THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO READ: When she called them Chris said "Kate hired us to clean the carpets - Im not going to charge her for services we didn't agree to do. If you want to hire us for other services we would be more than happy to accommodate but, what she paid for was carpet cleaning"
REALLY???!!! WOW! THANK YOU! He could've completely taken advantage of me - gone in there - done what Pat told him to do and taken my money and I wouldn't be the wiser! When I talked to him he said he would mail me a check for the money that I paid. I was SO relieved! I am a single mom and really cannot afford to throw around $250.00. I was trying to do the right thing by my landlord and make sure that everything was taken care of before the first. Instead, she took advantage of me and tried to get Casa Carpet Cleaning to take advantage of me as well. Well, they wouldn't have it!!
Talk about MORALS! I wasn't there AND he wasn't going to get my money in the end - but, he did the right thing!  Thank you Chris and everyone as Casa Carpet Cleaning in St. Charles IL!!! Not only are you great carpet cleaners....you are good people."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.
