"We had our initial consult 9/13/18, our work was not started until March and finally finished on Thursday March 21st. We were initially promised our deck would be completed in December or early January. Certainly bad weather in January and February contributed some to the delay but weather was good all of December. Only other hitch was on our first day of construction, the work team left our water pipes to our kitchen faucet completely uncovered and open to air, as well as our basement rim joist openings, on a night when freezing temperatures were expected. They did come back that evening after our call and covered everything appropriately but a little scary at the time. Overall, we are very happy with the finished product and can only say the time frame is ultimately the only thing we ended up unhappy with was the timing to complete the job. We took advantage of a 20% discount coupon on Angie's List, which saved us enough on the deck to complete the water management system."

"It's been a process, just because we needed so much work done, but Fred Zykan (owner) has been a pleasure to work with. He is dependable and accessible. He doesn't ask for money in advance, just when the job is done to satisfaction. He has hard working, knowledgeable laborers working for him and we have been very happy with everything that has been accomplished so far. The beginning: The estimate and contract were handled professionally by Cory. After appropriate down payment was provided, materials were delivered as promised. Cory had told us that it could take 5 to 6 weeks to finish the job; however Mario and his crew did the job in less than two weeks. Very quick and efficient. We couldn't believe how hard this siding crew worked - they arrived promptly in the early morning and worked until dark, cleaning up every evening before they left. This house is a very large house that has over 4,000 sq. ft. of siding.

The crew did their best to strip off only what they could cover that day, and never left our house unprotected during the installation cycle. We had a few rainy days during the project, but the crew worked through and around the storms. Mario and the rest of the SRS installation crew worked with me and handled all of my various questions satisfactorily along the way.

After the siding and trim were installed, all seams were caulked with matching materials. Then the remaining trim - soffits, fascia and gutters were painted.

A side note: this project started out in the spring as a simple paint job, and after a hail and wind storm interrupted the project it changed into a siding repair and paint to one end of the house. When it was discovered that the siding could not be matched, Cory worked with us and the insurance company to come to a satisfactory settlement that resulted in a complete siding replacement for the entire house. It took some convincing for the insurance company, but Cory stuck with it working with the adjusters and my agent to reach a satisfactory result. During this tiring and frustrating process, Cory hung in and revised the estimates and contracts to match our needs. Real customer service!

The Result: The house looks like a new house, better than it has ever looked - even on the day it was completed 28 years ago. I personally read every page of the James Hardie installation manual for certified installers, and to the best of my knowledge Mario and his crew followed the recommendations to the letter. We are very pleased with how nice the house looks, now. Our house is the talk of the neighborhood.

"The crew is proficient and very nice to work with.  We did encounter several delays in scheduling, etc., but the quality of work accomplished was excellent.  My really dirty, awful looking deck looked new when they were finished.
My issue is with the work that wasn't finished.  There is a fair sized section of siding on the back side of my house that was inadvertently missed (not stained).  I emailed a couple of times to bring this to Mr. Schonert's attention and request they come back out and finish the job.  He stated they would do so, but it has never happened.  I feel I paid for work that was not completed, which taints an otherwise outstanding and very professional job.  I would use this company again if they would make good on the completion of the job I have already paid for.
