Best garage pros near Glenview, IL

"Bob was super responsive in meeting with us and helping design the garage. They will make custom garages. We wanted a room built into our garage to shelter some feral cats we take care of, and they were willing to do that. They also installed a cat door that we purchased. They build good garages. Our old garage was falling apart, as are many others in the neighborhood. We wanted a garage that would last. All of the crew were highly-skilled and tremendously courteous. The quality of work at every stage was excellent: preparation of site, concrete pour, framing, roof, finishing/gutters. They took extra care to do things right. The job did take longer than expected. Part of that was due to issues with the site (excessive mud under the old garage that had to dry out and additional site preparation) but it seems the COVID pandemic generated a lot of home projects - we were in a work queue. Demolition started mid-September and garage was completed early January. (Our furnace guy had a similar situation with a different garage builder, so it wasn't just this company. We learned to be Zen about the timeline - it was less stressful that way.) In the end, we have a beautiful garage that should last for years. Very pleased."

"We started vetting contractors through Angies List last year for a bathroom remodel project & requested quotes from multiple contractors. MPT was very prompt in their responses & had a competitive quote. After speaking with Paul a couple of times, we decided to work with MPT.
We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of work, attention to detail & professionalism that the MPT team demonstrated. We were promised that the work would be finished in 2 weeks and and they finished it right on time (9 working days). Every morning they arrived promptly at 8 AM and some mornings I was pleasantly surprised to see them waiting outside the driveway until it was 8 AM. They were extremely detail-oriented and kept us abreast of developments along the way, with Paul even providing expert knowledge where our knowledge was limited. Cleanup after the task was also beyond my expectations.
Overall, we were extremely pleased working with Paul, Martin & Emilio. We have multiple small projects to do around the house & they will be my first choice for all those projects.

"Quality and craftsmanship was excellent. I trusted Chester, the project manager completely. Our house was over 90 years old and he went literally "above and beyond" to help us when unrelated issues happened to come up with our boiler. He employs very talented subcontractors that he has worked with for years and who helped contribute to the smooth completion of our project. He has excellent taste and was extremely helpful in offering his opinion when we decided to make some changes. We were very happy with the look and finish of our garage- we re-used brick from the demolition and he was able to make the exterior match our existing house perfectly. He is attentive and available to answer questions and personally inspected all of the work as it was completed"

"Our experience with AP Builder was great. Angelo was very knowledgeable and professional, keeping us informed every step of the way. This was a big important project for our home and I am extremely happy with how it came out! The cost was very reasonable and there were no surprises, everything was open and honest. I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you AP!"

"The JK Complete Remodeling team is very talented. They helped me design the basement remodel (about 1000 sq feet) with a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen/bar, tv area, storage, coat closet and kids area including building it all out. They walked us through the different steps of the build out and made wonderful suggestions on what would look best or makes the most sense in layout, electrical switches/outlets, etc. Their carpentry, tiling and stone work is impressive as you can see from the pictures. They built the shelves and wine rack in the bar area, built the frame around the chalkboard paint in the kids area, built out a closet into our garage space. I would highly recommend this professional team."

"Hired Da Handy Guys to help set up a washer and dryer in the basement of my property and they did a stellar job! They were on time and completely prepared to handle everything that came up in the installation process. Will definitely be hiring them for future projects!"

"Jose did beautiful work for our basement including wainscoting, baseboards, doors, window framing, and two custom built-ins. His attention to detail and thoroughness is unmatched! His recommendations for design were better than what I could have envisioned for the space. He is also so kind and the best thing that happened to our house that was in need of some character and charm — truly amazing work!!"

"RC Brothers Construction remodeled entirely our kitchen and powder room, as well as installed new flooring in 5 rooms and completed a wide variety of smaller projects. They were responsive, responsible, and highly skilled in their work. Throughout the lengthy project, which was completed on time, Claudiu, Ruben, and Steffy provided us with invaluable advice and direction in addition to their exceptional work. All of them were always affable and attentive to our concerns. RC Brothers Construction has my very strongest and most enthusiastic recommendation.
