Refinish outdoor deck

Dominik, the owner of Red Sky, was a pleasure to work with. He was very dependable and responsive. His crew was very professional and their attention to detail was great. They did a very good job on our house and deck. We recommend Red Sky very highly.

It went very well. Dominic’s estimate was very reasonable. He stopped by every day to see how the job was going, and was very responsive o my texts. The results look fantastic, better than I had hoped.

I am so impressed with Dominic and his company, Red Sky Painting. I reached out to several companies when I was looking for someone to paint my new apartment, and he responded immediately. With every meeting we had, he arrived early or on time, was professional and courteous. The team painted my entire 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment and finished two days earlier than expected. The work was impeccable and at a fair price. When I learned they also did deck work and exterior painting, I knew this was the only company I would hire in the future. HIGHLY recommend!

Dominic and his team did an outstanding job on our deck. We were out of town and he updated us on progress via text with pictures. His schedule actually accelerated due to favorable weather conditions. We were pleased with the quality of the recommended stain and workmanship of the application. When Dominik came to give us an estimate, I specifically said that we had many cracks in our walls and ceilings and these areas needed to be patched and that good prep work was very important to us. He reassured me he would fix everything and said it would be an “easy 2-day job.” However, it was a 5-day nightmare. The painters missed fixing several cracks. They also forgot to paint a large portion of one of the walls and a portion of the ceiling. Some patch spots were left completely unsanded and some patches were left unpainted. These were large obvious spots they should have seen, not small inconspicuous places. When I talked with the owner about their work, at first he implied that I was being too picky and that I didn't specify exactly which cracks I wanted repaired. (Even though I was clear all cracks needed to be repaired at the time of the estimate.) But when he returned to see what the painters missed, he then complained to me about his employees that they should have done a better job. He also asked me to mark the spots that I wanted repaired. I would think professional painters would see large cracks without having to be shown each one of them personally (see photos). The employees complained to me about their boss while at my home, which I found to be very unprofessional. I was told by one of the employees that they do not use work lamps in the room while they are painting because then the homeowner sees the flaws and that was why the job was not that good – because our room was too dark. We had to repaint several spots ourselves after they left and actually did better than the "pros." The large cracks still remain on our walls. They didn’t bring enough paint and so had to get more, and this extra gallon didn’t match the first gallon of paint on the walls. I would not use them ever again or recommend them to anyone.

Dominic gave us a quote after discussing what we wanted to accomplish. He was right on the money. He inspected his work daily. Cleanup was better than expected. I will certainly use him on our next project.

Excellent, professional interior and exterior painting done by professionals who care about one's home as much as the homeowners do. Meticulous painting, attention to detail and prompt service for a reasonable price. This is a painting service that not only provides excellent service, but value as well. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

After one unreturned message, I reached dominik on the second try and he was extremely responsive thereafter. The painter that actually performed the work was very courteous and professional. Dominik came by a couple of times to oversee the work. Overall, we were very happy with the job: quickly resolved and well done.
