"Claudiu Curescu of RC Brothers Construction is an amazing contactor. I had interviewed three contactors. The first one just said some cost figures verbally for my repairs. The second contractor hand wrote some cost figures on a sheet of paper. Claidiu produced a truly professional online estimate on his letterhead and detailed the work requested and the related cost as an estimate. He was by far the most professional. His painter iand crew are superb and use high quality Benjamin Moore paint. They are all very clean and clean up throughout the process. They took down my wall hangings and painting then after rehung them without any damages. There was no damage to my furniture. The tile guy and his partner created a beautiful look and the work was first rate quality. The carpet guy upgraded my new carpeting too. It’s a besutiful carpeting. Claidiu’s two brothes are involved too. One brother does excellent electrical work and figured out and fixed a complicated electrical issue. "

"Garage was built well. Wasn’t happy with the concrete guys they used.(0 stars)Thought I’d have a patio poured as they did the slab for the garage to make it easier. They ended up sloping it towards the house. Water runs towards my house on rainy days and sits behind my basement foundation. Very noticeable by eye too. When I put a table or chair on it, the whole set sits crooked. I have to wedge it with a piece of wood to keep it level. I have cracks in several places as well after the first year which I know no one guarantees but thats besides the point. Called them to address the issue but never got a response to the problem. I’ve had to look at it everyday for the last 2 years and it frustrates me. Called them back, explained the situation again…. even suggested to redo it at cost….they said they would get back to me ….but no response…again. They tell you about how good they are but when you try to address it, they don’t do anything. I guess I’ll have to tear it out and it replaced by someone else. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I gave them plenty of opportunities to make it right. It’s ashamed because I had a lot of people asking me for referrals. I even paid more that other quotes thinking they were different. I didn’t feel confident in recommending them. If anyone wants to see the work, please let me know. Hope it was worth it guys! UPDATE: 4/24 Bob proactively reached out to me and was unaware of the issues I had with the concrete. Internal communication issue? I don’t know. Apparently they've had issues with that concrete contractor and no longer use them. Garage4you said they want to make it right. Totally wasn't expecting that. Currently in the process of correcting the issue. I will update the review once completed. Just thought I'd let everyone know as you are gearing up for garage work soon. Maybe I was wrong and there are good ones out there. We shall see. UPDATE: 5/25 Well....a year has gone by and Issue has not been resolved. I reached out toward the end of summer thinking that they were busy and would do it in fall. Never happened. Obviously couldn't do it in winter. I told them let’s set it for early spring. I had to called in April to follow up. There has been no sense of urgency on their part. I keep getting the run around as if they didn't want to do it anymore. Not sure why this is so hard. You had a different contractor come out to validate that it wasn't done right. Then you put it in writing what needs to happen and it still hasn't. I even have all the texts archived. This is getting frustrating again but goes back to my original intuition. They are really good at telling you "how good they are" but when it comes to things like this, don't want to take responsibility; even though they acknowledged it. (which is worse in my opinion) Just wanted to get this done before I beautify my backyard as I know it will get torn up. I will give them one more week to schedule or tell me what is happening. If I don't hear back, I i'll most likely have to take it to the next step. Hopefully my next update is more promising. I've posted some pics so you can see what I am talking about. Pics don't do justice. 6/25/2025-Well. Now they are ignoring me. Guess I have to take it to the courts.............This is why contractors get a bad name! 9/25. "JCB does excellent work, they are quality craftsmen. They do the work quickly but thoroughly. Jack is one of the most trustworthy person that I have found in the building/service industry. Jack will problem-solve and guide us as needed but never "up-sells" unnecessarily. And JCB is a full-service contractor. Recently, they painted, replaced all the rotting wood on the exterior of our house, among other things. In the past, they have replaced a wall damaged by a water leak, refinished our basement and painted the entire interior of our house. I trust them implicitly."

"Craig came out and took measurements and discussed various options. I had two other estimates, one higher, one lower. The reason I chose Advanced is they were the only ones who dug the post holes to 42", not 36" as the other two. Our city does not have codes regulating post hole depth, but I was told that 42'"is considered the frost line. Also Advanced was the only company that suggested having 4" x 6" posts on the hinge side of the 6' gates. And they guaranteed their gates for a longer period of time than the others. The crew worked efficiently/quickly, cleaned up the site nicely. Upon completion, there were some boards that needed to be replaced. Todd agreed and the crew came back out to replace them. A minor adjustment to one of the gate latches was also made several months later. All in all, a good experience."

"Wally & his crew were very reliable. They were usually earlier than they said they would be at our house. They installed interior doors, recaulked my tub & refinished my wood floors & installed new trim. They also fixed a bedroom ceiling that was water damaged & painted it.I will hire them again in the future. I recommended them to my neighbor."

"We loved working with Ibro! He is super responsive, which is something people are usually concerned about when it comes to working with a contractor. Any time we had any questions or concerns, Ibro would call almost immediately. He showed up on time every day we expected and was always very neat & tidy with his work space. Our project costed about what we expected, and he does beautiful work! He renovated our primary bathroom and closet, and it’s everything we hoped it would be and more! He is very skilled and takes his time to make sure everything looks perfect. We are super impressed with his work and will definitely be using his services again for any future projects."

"If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I was a return customer that needed a few fence posts replaced as they rotted out. The quote was very high but they had done a good job in the past. We asked them to check other posts as well to be sure and let us know which ones to replace. They proceeded to just replace all posts in the line while we were gone for 30 mins. At least 2 of the 3 posts were just fine and did not need to be replaced. They then charged over $800 for the additional three posts they added and refused to wait the 10 minutes until we arrived to take the invoice or deal with it. In addition they did not bother to check the remaining fence as we asked and failed to clean up. They left dirt and concrete everywhere. We then called the following Monday as this occurred on a Friday, asked them to come out to finish and dispute the bill. They did not come out as planned and then told us to make an appointment. That all their fees are fixed and each post starts at $350 for the first one and $275 for each one after. Never did they tell us this in the quote or prior to installing the posts. We are left with a mess to clean and paid exorbitant fees for terrible work. Stay away!"
