"ALL SERVICE CALLS exceeded our expectations & provided excellent & prompt work at our home. From the timely, prompt & fair estimate to setting an appointment within 2 days, we were pleased with their labor. The team arrived on Thursday early & completed the work of clearing our trees & overgrowth within 4 hours. They also hauled away the debris. I plan to hire them again as for a few other projects as trees/landscaping is just one aspect of what they do. SIMPLY AWESOME. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL SERVICE CALLS LLC."

"Woods is excellent and exemplify professionalism. From the initial estimate by their representative to the crew sent out to do the actual work, at each stage every detail and costs were clearly explained and specified. They are not cheap, but there are no hidden costs or last-minute "add-on's" - you know what you are going to pay and what you are getting from the start. And, their products are top-notch! Their work crew was really great: they traveled 110 miles to my house and spent two entire days on the job site, spending the night at a local hotel. The installation of the sump pumps, crawlspace liner, dehumidifier, and outside drain lines were all very well done. They removed all work debris and left the job site clean. I needed to have the dehumidifier checked a few months later because it would not cycle on-off as it should. They sent Garth out to check on the problem; he was on-time (even a little early), and quickly noted that the unit did need to be replaced; he even identified an additional issue with some water leakage at the entrance to the crawlspace, which I had not noted. Two weeks later, as scheduled, two crew members were at the house to replace the dehumidifier, which involved re-digging the entrance to the crawlspace, and re-caulked the entrance to stop the water leakage. Their work was, once again, very professional."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Pros will assess your soil type, property geography, and rain patterns for optimal slope.

Permit requirements to clear land vary by municipality, so whether or not you need permits depends on where you live and what you’re removing from the land. Some building departments will require permits for any underground work or excavation, meaning grinding down tree stumps on your property would require permits. Others mandate individual permits for each tree you remove. You can contact your local building department or a land-clearing specialist near you to see if permits are necessary for your job.

A land survey includes the layout of a single property, including precise measurements and to-scale drawings of boundary lines, land improvements, and sometimes other features, like topography and drainage information. A plat map includes the layouts and boundary lines of several adjacent plots and basic structure measurements. Surveys are normally more valuable for homeowners and buyers, and plat maps are for governmental use.

A professional land surveyor ensures accurate property boundaries and prevent legal disputes.

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.
