"Our Larson storm door closer was caught by the wind and ripped the bracket away from the exterior door frame. Chris Engle promptly arrived when he said he would. Polite and professional, he accessed the damage and told me what he could do on the spot for the least amount of money. Not a pretty job for what he had to work with unless we wanted to replace the whole door and frame, but he made our exterior door and storm door useable. He also installed a wind chain on the storm door for added protection."

You can paint over wallpaper if it’s smooth and in good shape. But if there are bumps or tears in the wallpaper, they’ll likely show through the paint. Depending on the state of the wallpaper, color, and textures could show through, and moisture from the paint could loosen the adhesive, causing unsightly bubbling.

Most experts would not recommend hanging wallpaper over existing wallpaper more than twice. Even if the walls are in good condition and primed well, that third layer of wallpaper could cause problems with adhesion. Unless you like bubbling paint and peeling wallpaper as an interior design choice, it’s better to remove at least one existing layer before adding any more to a wall.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.
