"Our Larson storm door closer was caught by the wind and ripped the bracket away from the exterior door frame. Chris Engle promptly arrived when he said he would. Polite and professional, he accessed the damage and told me what he could do on the spot for the least amount of money. Not a pretty job for what he had to work with unless we wanted to replace the whole door and frame, but he made our exterior door and storm door useable. He also installed a wind chain on the storm door for added protection."

While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space. 

Most experts would not recommend hanging wallpaper over existing wallpaper more than twice. Even if the walls are in good condition and primed well, that third layer of wallpaper could cause problems with adhesion. The two most common reasons wallpaper does not stick are a lack of preparation and improper adhesive. Be sure to use the wallpaper paste designed for the type of paper you choose. Before beginning your project, make sure the walls are clean and free of dust, grease, and oils.

You can paint over wallpaper, but it’s not usually recommended, especially if the wallpaper underneath is textured or dirty. If you do decide to paint your wallpaper, make sure it’s in good condition and clean it very well. Make sure all corners and edges of wallpaper are glued down before you paint, as well.
