"It was our third time using The Handy Veteran and it will not be the last. Kevin and his team are absolutely top notch! Our first job with Kevin was to replace and paint all of the wood and trim in our entire house, replace carpet with LVP flooring on a third of the floors in our 3000sqf home, refaced our fireplace, install a new front door, & paint the entire house. Second job was to repair and paint our large deck. This last job was to replace more floors, remodel our guest bathroom and hang multiple lights fixtures. Our first job was in 2020 and the initial work they did is still perfect. Kevin stands by his work. He is not satisfied until the job is done right and was extremely accommodating to all of our requests. He wanted us satisfied and happy with the work and even made some great suggestions that really enhanced the final outcome. Him and his team are extremely respectful of our time, professional, friendly and trustworthy. Also very fair with their pricing! "

"We had an exterior door to our garage that would not close/latch properly and therefore presented a security risk. I called multiple companies for quotes and explained we'd like to try repairing the door first, but are open to replacing it if necessary. Multiple other companies told us there was no other option but to replace the door. Robert's company was the last one on our list to gather a quote from. He came by the very next day after I called, immediately found core problem with the door (simple loose screws in the hinges) and fixed then and there. The fix was so simple, he didn't even charge us. I so appreciate that Robert wasn't trying to scam us into a bigger more expensive project of replacing the entire door. "I am expressing my disappointment with the recent window installation service at my home. Out of the five windows installed, two were incorrectly sized, and these windows were of most concern (those in my daughter?s bedroom). These windows are noticeably smaller compared to the other windows in the room, which is immediately apparent. Before the installation, I made it clear that I was concerned about the workmanship, and I specifically asked for this to be done correctly given the issues with draftiness in the older windows, which are located right next to my daughter's bed. This issue was one of my main reasons for replacing them. I firmly expected that the new windows would be properly sized and sealed, but I now have doubts that these will even hold up. I'd expect in five year these windows will also become drafty. In the attached pictured in can be clearly seen the windows are about an 1" to an 1.5" smaller and all around expandable foam was added to make it work."
