We tried to work it out with them and have them come back out and they would not even come out again! Still charging us for service call. Very bad business and please do not use them. Sad when companies like this take advantage!"

In most cases, the repair is worth the value as it should help maintain the life of the appliance for a longer period, and the repair should be a lower cost than replacing the entire unit. You should never plug a normal 120v appliance into a special 240v outlet, as it can quickly burn out the appliance. This will cause irreparable damage to the appliance and, in worse case scenarios, cause damage to your circuit breaker. Check your appliance’s rating before plugging it into a 220v outlet to avoid electrical disaster.

Your broiler may not be working due to a faulty igniter, which is the piece responsible for lighting the gas. Other possible issues include a broken broil element, a problem with the thermostat, or a defective control board. If the gas supply isn’t correctly connected to the broiler, it can also create problems. When in doubt, call a pro to safely and effectively diagnose and fix the problem.

Choosing a unit with higher BTUs can use more electricity if the BTUs are more than what’s necessary for your room size. However, choosing an AC with BTUs that match the size of your room or house, your unit will cool your space efficiently. On the flip side, choosing a system with not enough BTUs can cause the system to work harder to try to cool the space, leading to more electricity consumption and higher energy bills.
