"It took much longer than expected. The final product was nice however I had to make them redo large section of tile that were installed wrong. The owner asked me to pay the final payment before the job was finished,I did reluctantly. I was left with leaky plumbing and electrical issues ,they never came back or responded to my calls. I had to hire people to come and fix these issues. The employees were very rude , if I asked them questions about why things weren’t level or not cleaned properly they would yell at me , As a result many things were left unsatisfactory. A word to the wise , don’t pay your final payment until you are satisfied."

We do fire and water mitigation and remediation and have the capacity to perform the required remodeling when requested. We are a Preferred Service Provider for vitually all insurance companies and they normally pay us directly. We respond to any call for service within one (1) hour and begin our work immediately.

"DO NOT HIRE THEM! You will waste money and time. They were supposed to do water damage repairs in our home and it took them 2 months to replace a section of drywall and insulation, and on top of that they didn't finish the job! They never came back to paint... They removed the blown insulation in the attic with the cheapest one and they didn't even bother to cover the gaps."

24/7 Full Service Disaster Clean-up and Restoration. Natural and man-made disasters can cause a wide range of damage. But with over 35 years of disaster cleanup and restoration experience, United Services has seen it all and done it all. We are your one-stop shop for comprehensive cleanup, board-up and restoration services in Illinois and Wisconsin.

"They did a great job. They removed all of the old stuff and sealed up all the possible ways the warm air could get into the attic. The guys were very polite, focused on the work, very detail oriented, showed me what they were doing with each step, and were very knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves, did what they said they would do, and did not track stuff around. After it was done, the house was overall much more comfortable. I would definitely hire them again."

Additional e-mails - [email protected], [email protected]. Alliance Disaster Kleenup. Headquartered in suburban Chicago, ADK is one of the most highly regarded disaster restoration organizations in North America. ADK returns damaged property to its pre-loss condition quickly and efficiently, delivering complete satisfaction to our consumer, insurance, and corporate customers.

"Thinking about hiring ADK? PLEASE read my review- My goal is to warn others about the ethics and integrity of Alliance Disaster Kleenup (ADK In initial interactions, I met with one of the owners, Justin Tubero. Justin assured me that his “one-stop shop” would provide mitigation, clean up and storage of salvageable belongings, and the completed reconstruction of my home in a timely manner. . • Was told I would only be out of my home for 4-6 months. I was actually displaced for 11 months. • Building Permit was supposed to take 1-6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I finally called the county department myself and was told that ADK’s PM continually brought in the wrong paperwork. • Permit was finally received after 4 months. (16 weeks). • After the permit was finally issued my home sat empty for several weeks. The excuse? I was told that they were stretched thin due to all the homes affected by the flooding that had happened. Wait…What….. MY house fire was on May 4th so how did they take precedence? First project manager –“No longer with the company”. • Enter Project Manager # 2 • The Scope of Work, which is the very detailed contract of the repairs agreed upon by insurance company and ADK was not being followed. I found myself having to be at the house almost daily with contract in hand to question why things were not being done according to the agreed upon contract. Unfortunately, I constantly felt like because I was a female living here they thought they could sneak things past me and “she would never know”. • One egregious example. All the ceilings in my ranch home were to be replaced (agreed upon in the scope of work). It was an attic fire (electrical) and several fire hoses were put through the vents in my roof. Water was streaming down like a waterfall on the main floor-get the picture? Obvious repairs were done where the ceilings collapsed but I would estimate over ½ the house’s ceilings were not replaced- ceilings already primed and painted (finished). • On one of my visits to the house I started seeing nail pops everywhere in the ceilings- I called the PM, ADK’s response was to screw up the ceiling drywall (obviously water damaged and coming down) that had already been primed and painted (finished work). If I had not questioned the work, the water damaged ceilings would have been left up as “replaced” and the company would have received monies from my insurance company for replacing all the ceilings. If I was not physically on location, daily, to point out the missing work, it seemed it would not get done. • Deadline after deadline was missed. • Inspection after inspection failed. • Subcontractors did not show up and were ultimately fired. • When ceilings were finally pulled down it was discovered that an entire bedroom had not received ANY attic insulation. • Had to have the second PM’s boss finally come out to the house to see the lack of progress and all the “shoddy and verge of fraudulent” work that was being done and scope of work not being followed. • Theft. There was theft going on inside and outside of my locked home. • Subcontractor had his Makita boom box taken from a locked house. ADK and their subcontractors were the only ones with a key. • Packages and boxes left on the front step were blatantly opened, items went missing- a Amazon box was opened on my front porch and the Firestick removed. Lived here 11 years and had no theft prior to this and have not had any theft after I returned. • Stored -alcohol that the company themselves had packed up/stored in boxes had been opened and some of the contents taken. • Garage fridge which serves as my beverage cooler- including alcohol was taken. • Due to the theft-I felt I had to purchase two Ring spotlight cameras so I could monitor the activities in and around my home when I could not be there. • 8 months after initial contract was signed, I was given a Schedule of Completion, outlining when certain tasks would be completed, such as insulation installation, drywall, taping, etc. • 5 deadlines of completion were promised to me. Not one was met. • Move in day. 11-months after I was displaced, I was able to move back in. AFTER all furniture, boxes, miscellaneous was moved back in, I did the final walk around. I noticed several large gouges and numerous scratches everywhere on the new hardwood flooring. • The flooring sub-contractor came in, reviewed all the damage from ADK movers, and told me that there was so much damage that the floor had to be redone all over; sand, stain, poly. ALL the furniture had to be moved back out AGAIN. • I “lived” in my house for 2 weeks after my floors were repaired with only my bedroom furniture and a stool in the kitchen • After repeatedly being told (lied to) that all the vents had been replaced on my roof, I climbed the ladder to my roof ( I’m a 59 year old woman -double knee replacement ) to find out that the less expensive turtle types had been replaced but the more expensive roof mount power attic fan had not. You could still see the dents from the firefighter’s boots when they stomped it back into the hole that they ripped it out of. • 2nd Project Manager “no longer with the company” • Enter Project Manager # 3- I was notified of a schedule and it was finally adhered to. 11 months of my life were wasted on a company who promised me back my home and delivered, ultimately, a **** show. I was completely stressed, traumatized and left feeling hopeless throughout the process. The reconstruction ended up being more traumatizing than the fire itself!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON- Consumer BEWARE!!!!!!!!"

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Refinishing gives appliances a refreshed look, extends their lifespan, and is more cost-effective than new purchases. It also allows personalization to match the decor.

The process involves prepping surfaces, applying primer, and finishing with a coating that restores appearance and durability and provides an updated look.

To effectively service small appliances, perform routine checks for wear and tear, clean components regularly, and ensure all connections are secure.

If you have decided that hiring a professional to refinish your floors will be faster and more satisfactory, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $2,500. To get a better idea of what your hardwood refinishing project will cost with a professional, multiply the project’s square footage by the average price of $4 per square foot.

One of the easiest ways to make dull oven racks shiny is to soak them overnight in hot water and dishwasher detergent. After leaving them for at least 12 hours, use a scrub brush or sponge to remove the stains. For best results, repeat the cleaning process every few months to keep your oven racks bright and shiny.
