Gustavo was great. Very patient working with me and my poorly drawn/explained plans. The new wall is extremely solid and is easily holding up my new countertop. The attention to detail was also great since he really made sure that everything was not only properly done but also to my satisfaction. Gustavo and his team were excellent. Here's what I liked: 1. Detailed quote - I interviewed 8 different contractors and received quotes from 7. Element Drywall was by far the most detailed. 2. Excellent communication - Gustavo responds quickly via text and/or email. He uses proper digital contracts. 3. Attention to detail and level of care - I've had contractors in the past cut corners, not staff the project every day of the week, etc. Gustavo and his crew show up every day, work hard, and he truly cares about doing the work correctly. He listens and quickly corrects any missed areas without any fuss or excuses. He takes ownership of the quality of his work. 4. Reasonable pricing - Element wasn't the cheapest but was reasonably priced and I went with them because they seemed the most sincere, most detailed, and most likely to deliver high work quality. All of those beliefs turned out to be true. 5. Overall quality of work - excellent. It took slightly longer than expected as some unexpected areas for remediation were discovered as the work was ongoing but Gustavo and his team were creative and figured out how to get it done. I would not hesitate to use Element Drywall and Gustavo for another project in the future. I recommend them highly.

Amazing work. Gustavo has an attention to detail that is off the charts. Our bedroom is a much quieter place now. Every tiniest detail is considered and our bedroom is now “showroom” quality. Gustavo was absolutely GREAT and AMAZING !! He was very professional and did an amazing job with water damage remediation and all of the drywall installation and insulation and painting. He worked closely with me on identifying causes of water leaks and suggested different options to remedy the water damage in the most efficient and cost effective way. He was always meticulous and paid close attention to all the small details and addressed them very efficiently. He was always on time and finished the project on planned schedule and even helped with the insurance adjuster. We contracted with Element Drywall & Painting to prep for and install a soundproof wall that upon completion would divide an existing bedroom into two new in-home offices. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Gustavos Banales and his team went beyond contract specifications to make sure we were fully satisfied with the work. Very competent, conscientious, and trustworthy. Highly, highly recommended. Before the work began all furniture was covered with sliders, masking tape, plastic runners, and laundered drop cloths. Thick paper runways were rolled out from our front door to the work areas. Additionally, a filtration negative air machine utilizing a HEPA-activated carbon filter kept the dust in the apartment down and the air clean. Prep work done, the team framed the 10 ft wide by nine foot high divisional wall using a metal frame and studs. The team installed a resilient channel to reduce any sound intrusion to the other side of the wall and reinforced that with soundproof batting. Intstallation of expertly cut and mudded drywall was next, and a precise channel was cut around the doorways to further reduce any sound intrusion. We choose where we wanted several electrical outlets to be located in the wall, each of which was then sealed with acoustical putty pads. A TV bracket was attached on the wall. On top of that, designed-from-scratch matching wainscotting and baseboards were added. Finally, an expert coat of primer and paint was applied. The project attained a level-five finish. The team also primed and painted a separate wall that needed attention in the apartment. And at no extra charge the team fixed work by another contractor that was substandard. People walk into my house and comment how everything looks new again. Gustavo and his team showed up every day Monday thru Friday and put in a full day of work. He has a high standard for how to plaster and repair or replace trim. I highly recommend Element and Drywall.

Amazing! If you ever need help with an industrial style condo, this is the team for you~ I cannot stress enough the work that Gustavo and his team put into this arduous task. Any other contractor I went to told me either it was out of their scope or took >2 weeks Gustavo handed over the project which included: Ceiling correction and paint (took about 3-4 coats) and painting the pipes and Air duct pipe black. These ceilings were 10 foot 10 inches high and with such effort, they got the job done so beautifully and took into every feedback I had and delivered over and beyond. Gustavo did a spectacular job repairing my plaster walls and skim-coating the existing acrylic mortar. Great attention to detail, went above and beyond to make sure each room he worked in was finished to a very high degree when he wrapped up. Also kept the workspace clean and separated from the rest of the house. Very professional, great work. I had this team back to do a similar job on a bathroom and they were amazing! Quick, clean work, very well done, with a great eye for detail.

Gus was very responsive throughout the entire project. He sent text/picture updates of his work and let me know how things were going every step of the way. He was professional, thoughtful, and easy to work with. He left things neat and tidy each day before he left. On the last day, everything was cleaned to perfection. You can't even tell that there were ever holes in the wall - his work is impeccable! His prices were reasonable and he even repainted my entire hallway FREE OF CHARGE because he wanted everything to look perfect. We hired Dorian and his team to install drywall in our hallway. From start to finish, he was professional and performed high-quality work. He walked me through his approach for sound proofing the ceiling and explained all the materials used. Before starting the work, he set up dust containment zones and was thoughtful in making the work area safe for our children who were in the house. There are no seams on the walls, ceiling, or corner joints. He had good communication on his hours from start to finish and walked me through what he was going to accomplish each day. I would hire him again for other projects and enjoyed working with him.
