About us
Mold Made Simple. Elite Mold Services provides independent mold inspections, mold testing and indoor air quality assessments for residential and commercial properties. We are proudly certified through the ACAC. We are state-licensed and fully insured. We do not provide remediation services we provide unbiased investigations without a conflict of interest. We believe in charging a fair price for our services. We will charge an inspection fee along with charging on a per sample basis for any mold samples we collect (after obtaining consent of the client). Beware of companies offering "free" mold inspections as they are usually trying to get their foot in the door and sell another service. One of the most important credentials to look for is that your mold inspector / sampler is licensed with the State of Florida. Another extremely important qualification to hold in this industry is a certification with the American Council of Accredited Certifications or ACAC. This certification is the most respected credential of this industry, requiring proof of experience and a proctored exam only then to have the application go in front of a council board. This is a big difference from your online "training" schools that issue "certifications" through the mail. We are certified by the ACAC & members of the IAQA. We’ve used this company twice now for pre and post mold testing. They are professional, and usually pretty thorough in their testing and recommendations on how or what to remediate. The testers have always been friendly and helpful. They were flexible with scheduling changes and available for testing when needed. My only complaint is that I wish it wasn’t so expensive. Wish they didn’t charge as much for the post testing since of course that would be part of the whole process and needed to close out a project.

Elite Mold Services did a fantastic job assessing our home from flooding. James took time and answered all my questions and was extremely thorough. This was money well spent. I now have a plan of action for mold remediation due to this service. I also like how this company assesses but does not remediate, as that could be a conflict of interest for the homeowner. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t be more pleased! James came out the same day I called and I had the lab results by the end of the day. The technician, Dylan, was prompt, professional, thorough and very good about explaining all the steps of the inspection process. He explained additional tests that could be done for additional cost based on our specific concerns, but was never pushy or hard-sell. The cost of the basic inspection depends on the square footage of your home, and it can get a little pricey if you ask for additional testing, such as air quality, but the knowledge we gained was well worth the cost. Elite supplies the science in diagnosing the mold problems. They do not do the repairs.

Elite was able to schedule our inspection quickly. Inspector arrived on time and was very thorough. Results were expected within 24-48 hours, and we got ours quickly. The report was fairly technical, but he was able to explain where we had problems and provided a list of potential remediation companies.
