"Skyline Metal Fabrication's attention to detail, flexibility, expert craftsmanship, excellence, and ultimate pursuit of perfection is what immediately comes to mind when I think about my experience with Ramiro, Heather, and crew.  After vetting about 10 local companies for my iron fence project, Skyline was head and shoulders above the competition.  For example, one of the questions I asked all companies was "How much distance would separate each post on this property?"  Until Ramiro, all companies responded with a generic, canned answer.  Ramiro, on the other hand, took out his tape measure and proceeded to measure each side of the property.  He then sat down at my patio table, grabbed a pen and piece of paper, and calculated the exact distance.  To the inch.  In addition, he explained that this distance would vary based on the fence height, picket thickness overall weight of each section, and other factors (our fence is 6").  He also shared in detail the nature of designing an iron fence and discussed the endless options available, giving my wife and I great ideas for our project.  I knew then and there Skyline was hired before the quote arrived.  Needless to say, we will be hiring Skyline for future projects and can't recommend them enough.   "

"I received a few quotes from fencing companies. My husband and I decided to hire Flores Fencing. The quotes I received from the different fencing companies were pretty similar as far as cost but we decided to go with Flores Fencing because they were the only company that seem enthusiastic about getting our business. The other companies, which have been in business a lot longer than Flores Fencing, never even bothered with any form of follow up communication after they gave me the quote. Emanuel however, was great at communicating with me throughout the process and Wilfredo was great at addressing my questions or concerns about my project. The workers were efficient and after completing the installation of my fence and gate, they made sure they left my yard pristine. Wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum are common materials. Choose based on durability, maintenance needs, and aesthetics.

You’ll need to bury the garden fence about 1 foot underground. It’s tempting to save on materials by burying the fence just a couple of inches, but if you do so, determined pests will still be able to dig under the fence and access your plants. Burying your garden fence deep into the soil is an important step that allows you to attach a wire barrier to the fencing. 

Burrowing animals (like voles, moles, rabbits, and gophers) can’t dig or chew through this wiring, meaning that you’ll be keeping your prized petunias or your robust veggie garden from being eaten.

While many fence companies and fence material retailers refer to their metal fencing as wrought iron fencing, most of it is actually ornamental wrought iron fence. This means that the fence is made to look like traditional wrought iron but is actually made out of either steel or aluminum. Old wrought iron fences typically found at estate sales or on older properties are much heavier and much more prone to rust than the ornamental wrought iron that newer homes and fences use.

The distance between fence posts depends on the type of fence you’re installing. Wood and metal fence posts should be between 5 feet and 8 feet apart. Chain-link fence posts can be closer together at 4 feet apart, or the spacing can be up to 10 feet apart. Vinyl fence posts can be between 6 feet and 8 feet apart, and wire fence posts can be up to 12 feet apart.
