"Solis Pool and Spa is an all-inclusive Pool Service no matter the need. Caesar is a professional who has maintained and service my pool for years. Caesar is analytical, thorough, and fair. Throughout the years, I have dealt with many pools services. However, due to years of experience, I have learned to stay with the Best to alleviate any stress regarding my pool season of absolute enjoyment and worry-free activities. So I would say that Caesar is truly the Doctor of Exceptional and Outstanding Pool Service. And I highly recommend Caesar, for any pool care or concerns that you may have!"

"The technician that worked on our above ground pool, I believe her name is AJ, is wonderful and very knowledgeable. She thoroughly inspected all of our equipment and managed to get our pool filtration system running better than it has in years (we tried several other pool services before JIT). When we eventually needed a replacement pump, she did a wonderful job installing the new one and we have had no problems since!"

"WOW - working with Jaime and his crew was remarkable. They plastered my 44 ft X 18 pool, changed out two pumps, replaced jets, fixed my heater, and spent meticulous detail to make sure the pool was open and running before they wrapped up the job. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and truly cared about my concerns. Jaime came out and gave me a quote the same day I requested it on Home Advisor. They addressed everything perfectly. They also made certain to clean up after each day so there was no mess around since the job took 6 work days in total. The crew arrived promptly each morning between 7 and 8, and stayed until the day's work was done. I received quotes from many other larger firms - all were about 20 - 25% higher cost that JV's Pools. You should have no hesitation using a smaller firm like JV's! I was concerned at first since it was such an important job but was SO GLAD with the decision. What I noticed was that working with a smaller 'boutique' firm like JV's pools made the personal experience and customer service that much better. I could always call the owner on this cell phone, even in the evening, and he could answer any questions I had. Jaime and he lead foreman all have over 30 years experience with pool construction and repair before they started their own firm (I cannot verify this but this is what they told me - and I believe it). Also important to note - other pool companies I have worked with in the past always tried to 'keep me stupid'. I am a new pool owner (I bought a home with a pool in 2010) and the companies would services the pool, open the pool, and close the pool in a way that felt like they were intentionally avoiding me so I could never ask questions, thus always be dependent on them. Jaime and his team did the opposite. They gave me tons of practical advice on being a pool owner - - - and the guy who does service that they work with took the time to even show me how to use the complicated chemical testing kit that i never really understood (I used test strips, but now I will use the test kit). I even learned more about my heater - - - who knew! Thanks Jaime, Freddy, Raymond, Herman and the rest of the crew! Well done."

"There was a terrible storm overnight and my pool and spa looked horrific my pool was green and had a bunch of leaves and branches in it, I was hosting a big party for an engagement celebration the next day, so I was very stressed out, I had called other pool companies and received no response, when I reached out to Marco, he responded right away, was very empathetic to the urgency of my situation and he was able to come first thing in the morning and he made my pool look amazing! He’s a very honest and extremely professional person, I will only ever trust him to work on my pool from now on! He’s the best person you can ever hire to work on any and all of your pool needs!"

"This was one of the most memorable, positive experiences I have ever had doing business.  The shop is eclectic and inviting with an overall sense that these men and women love what they do and know what they are doing.  Each is serious about customer service.
Paul does business like we remember when you only had the neighborhood stores and shops to frequent.  He is direct and though I emotionally wanted to hang on to the European wiring of the lamp, he clearly stated that safety was first (he was able to use the same wire which was originally made to fit the lamp, he of course taught me that also)  Extremely knowledgeable.
He is respectful and does not push his opinion on what he thinks looks best, he listened and showed me options.  He was patient with my indecision, and many question as he understood how one can love a lamp.
Each lamp is beautifully repaired, the shades chosen, also with the assistance of Paul, look fabulous.  I am so happy with the end product!
Every opportunity I get, I share my story of the wonderful shop that I hope prospers, they are rare.  thank you.

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Similar to a hot tub, swim spas last anywhere from five to 20 years, depending on quality and your attention to maintenance. The best way to increase the lifespan of your swim spa is to carefully maintain it—including draining it around every six months to deep clean the parts.

Vinegar can be used as an all-purpose cleaner for many things, including hot tub filters. Soaking hot tub filters in vinegar and water for up to 24 hours can remove dirt and oil, and as a bonus, it won’t cause the water to foam after you reinstall it if there’s vinegar left on it. But make sure you still rinse it to remove any debris, dirt, or grime stuck on it.

Hot tub repair costs are less expensive than purchasing a new one, especially if your warranty is still intact. You can shop for a secondhand unit or find a deal for a trade-in. If the price to repair your hot tub is higher than the cost of a new one, consider replacing your unit.

You should drain your hot tub three to four times a year to give it a thorough cleaning. This should take about an hour, but it depends on the size of your tub.

Hot tub repairs cost between $200 and $500 on average. You can minimize those costs by maintaining your hot tub and keeping necessary supplies on hand. An elevated shelf in the garage is a great place to store your water care chemicals so that kids and pets will stay safe and you’ll always have them around.

Your hot tub should be drained of existing water, cleaned, and refilled every three to four months at a minimum. Follow your tub manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning, and rinse thoroughly when finished to eliminate any residue from the cleaning products. This is also a good time to inspect your tub’s cover in good lighting for any leaks, tears, or other damage that might cause problems.

Using your hot tub manufacturer’s suggested cleaners and methods, keep your hot tub filters clean to avoid a loss of water heat. This will help extend the filter’s useful life and efficiency. If the filter is more than two to three years old, replace it with a new one and buy a second filter to keep around as a spare.
