"Called them to clean and inspect fireplace chimney. Frankie went up on the roof while his assistant cleaned from inside. Frankie took digital photo of crown to show me where it needed repair. Also noticed that the existing cap did not fit tightly and we have had raccoons on our roof. When he inspected the firebox he noticed a hole just above the damper, which he recommended repair because of fire hazard. The whole job took about 45 minutes."

"Their estimate was right in line with others received. When workers started on chimney they approached us about its need to be rebuilt and not just spot repaired. After explaining to them that we understood that and were looking for a fix that would last a couple of years, because we plan on adding a second floor, they agreed that spot tuckpointing would be fine.
