We hired Joe to install a bench in our front entryway. It turned out great. We could not be happier. Joe was responsive and professional. We will be using him again!

Joe recently finished painting our cabinets, and at first glance, we were happy with the results. As we took a closer look, we noticed multiple small spots had touch-up work done to help cover the imperfections. Unfortunately, the touch-up paint looked as if it was a different color or finish compared to the cabinet. While these small spots didn't bother us, two of our main cabinet doors had large blotches of this touch-up paint that didn't match. (Pics attached) Initially, we weren't upset; mistakes happen. Joe came back out and attempted to touch up the spots; however, this only made it look worse. (Pics attached) After, I reached out to Joe multiple times with no response. When he finally responded (4 weeks later), he said he doesn't run around and do touch-ups but agreed to come out the following Monday. Reminder, this was not a touch-up but instead fixing a quality issue on his original job. He never showed... Despite paying him on time, being flexible with our schedule, and only having one reasonable ask, we received awful customer service and overall unprofessionalism. There were also multiple times during the project itself that Joe would show up hours after the committed time he said he’d be there. We've had a few friends and family inquire about his services; however, we ultimately decided we couldn't recommend him based on our experience.

From the start, I liked Joe. He has a straightforward pricing model. He explains things well and is fair and honest. We have old kitchen cabinets. He replaced the doors, hinges, handles, and re/painted. He facilitated all of the ordering, worked around our schedule, and stayed patient through supply chain delays. When issues arose he addressed them even though it meant delays and more hours doing additional painting and carpentry. He had to come back several times to our house because of these issues (out of our control, of course, but he never showed frustration). He didn't rush the work. What is more, even after putting more time into the job than he obviously anticipated, *he offered* to come back to our house for touchups (at no extra charge). He was concerned the counter and tile installation might damage his work. Our project was probably a project from h*** for him. Yet, he kept the price the same and never complained. A true professional. The cabinets look fantastic! Great paint job. I'm looking around my home for projects b/c I feel like I owe him for the excellent work despite the challenges!

Joe made our stairs more stable quickly and effectively and was really friendly and clear in his communication throughout the process.

Beautiful work!!! I remodeled my kitchen about 10 years ago with cabinets that had a vanilla glazing on it. Unfortunately, within a few years the glazing started to chip off. The company I purchased through had folded, so I had to look for someone else to do the refinishing which only got worse over time. When I first met Joe, you could feel his energy for his work. He was able to match the color perfectly (which was a requirement of mine) and I think they look better now than the day I had them installed!!! Joe was awesome to work with and his drive for quality is very evident!! I spend a lot of time in my kitchen and can finally enjoy the beauty of it again! Wholeheartedly recommend Zillo Refinishing for any cabinet work you need done! Cannot wait to have friends over to show them off!

Zillo Refininishing was professional, punctual, flexible, responsive, and thoughtful when it came to every detail of our project. Joe was a good thought partner and helped us make some important decisions which resulted in a better look. The price was reasonable and there was no mess left when they were finished. We would definitely recommend this company for any cabinet project.

The company was absolutely terrible !!!!!!!!! I had a horrible experience !!!! My advice would be to never recommend this company or hire Zillo !!! Extremely poor customer service !!!!!

Terrific. Joe is extremely fussy & his helper, Vinny, is great too. Having them in the house was a pleasure since they are friendly & willing to chit chat. Price was fair we felt for the amount of work involved. A good experience & the final outcome all we hoped for.

Tub refinish was cracked and came off one year after service. Called to remedy. No response. Would not hire again.

Excellent. I couldn't be more happy. Zillo Refinishing follows through with everything they say and are very professional. The quality is outstanding.. I feel like I have new bathroom and kitchen cabinets at a fraction of the cost. Joe, the owner, especially was a very good communicator and does excellent work. I highly recommend them to anybody looking to refinish their cabinets. This was basically the last part of my renovation I needed completed and I'm very glad I found them on Angie's list. A+!

Joe was excellent, and the end product looks terrific. The work was done correctly (doors spray painted in his shop; layers of primer and then application of paint specific for this purpose) and he showed up as he said he would on each visit. Joe was easy to deal with, and I felt very comfortable having him in my house. Note that the vanity cabinets (minus the doors) are painted in your home using a spray gun. Again, the proper layers of primer and paint are applied, and (to my surprise) Joe used commercial ventilation fans/ductwork to ensure minimal fumes in my home. That was really appreciated. I would use Zillo Refinishing again, and I've already recommended them to friends. Thanks!

Work was done professionally and on time. He had an issue with one of the spray guns, but he kept me informed of the issue and finished the job.

just ok. The drain in the tub should have been removed during the painting. It is a new drain and it comes out very easy. Also it got paint on it during the process. This kind of takes away from the perfect job.
