"The two young ladies did an excellent job removing the moss and pine needles off the roof in a timely manner. Also the clean up included a house cleaning and windows were also cleaned which made the wife happy as she was able to cancel the scheduled window cleaning. Will use them again."

"Yvonne explained everything in detail....from the women who work for her to the details of what cleaning would be performed, sanitizing practices, etc. She listens to her clients needs & performs only what is asked. If I were remaining in the Coeur d'Alene area, I would hire Elite Clean for cleaning services every 2 weeks. My house was left in excellent condition, carpets vacuumed, kitchen cleaned & sanitized & the house smelling fresh. They will also notify you if there is a problem or anything is left behind if it's a "move out" cleaning service."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes. While you can clean every room in your home with vinegar and baking soda, you should not use them on marble floors. Vinegar is too acidic, and baking soda is too alkaline; both of them can lead to etching on your marble. A pH-neutral cleaner is your best bet to clean marble floors.

A toilet in a guest bathroom that doesn’t get used very often can usually be cleaned less frequently, but toilets that are used regularly should be cleaned every week. Cleaning your toilet more frequently than once per week is usually unnecessary.

You can use baking soda to start getting the urine odor out of your mattress. Baking soda is highly absorbent and soaks up odors, so it will not only draw the urine out of your mattress but it can also get to work fighting the lingering smell. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner to break down the urine to make it easier to clean. Just keep in mind that you need to remove enzymatic cleaners from the mattress after use, as leaving them on could be dangerous.

The best thing to clean bathrooms with is an all-purpose cleaner, a mixture of white vinegar and water (50:50 ratio), and a glass cleaner for mirrors and glass surfaces. You can also use baking soda on areas with soap residue or mildew. The best tool to clean a bathroom depends on the specific task, but a sponge and a fresh towel are versatile options.

There are different reasons for wanting to wash your floor by hand or using a mop. For deep and thorough cleaning, hand washing allows you to scrub hard-to-reach spots, ensuring the entire floor is pristine. You may want to use this method every other month. Mopping is ideal for weekly maintenance and vast spaces where hand washing is too time-consuming and labor-intensive. Remember, cleaning your floors regularly is better than skipping the task altogether, so use the best method that works for you.
