"These guys were very courteous, fast working with great results. The company is very honest, I accidentally overpaid a large amount and the manager called later that day to question me about it, we are now getting a free cleaning next year."

"

He showed up to work on my home and started painting when he said he would be there. The very first day he had the largest part of the formal living room, the entry way, and the kitchen almost completed. Overall it took four days to complete my entire home His work was professional and complete. He repaired all the walls and began painting. We used three colors with two coats of paint on the walls. I wanted to be able to wash the walls so I had him put on a satin and used semi gloss in the bathrooms and laundry room. He even took care to check his work and did all the touch ups.

I will recommend JyJy/Flawless Painting and his team to all my friends, neighbors and family. What a great job and completed in a timely manner! I love my homes new look and feel!

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

Even at the lowest setting, there’s always a risk that pressure washing might damage your shower or tub. Never use this technique if there’s pre-existing damage in your shower or tub, like peeling caulk, sealant, or cracked tiles. And skip this method entirely if there are any wood features present.

Whether you need to winterize your pressure washer depends on where you store it. If you can keep it in a relatively warm place with no risk of freezing, you won't need to add antifreeze. However, if the machine will be stored in freezing temperatures, any liquid left in the water pump can freeze, expand, and cause severe damage. To prevent this, add antifreeze to keep it in good condition. While some suggest emptying the machine with compressed air, this can be a tedious process that may not fully drain the liquid. Regardless of storage conditions, it is also good practice to empty the gas chamber and refresh the oil before winter storage.

Yes, pressure washers can remove rust stains from concrete. However, when coupled with an acid treatment, they can be even more effective. Just be sure to use a minimum of a 15-degree nozzle to prevent damage to the surface, and users must also be careful not to get in the way of the pressure washer’s jet as they can cut through skin and cause injury.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Cedar shake siding requires regular cleaning, or else it will grow mold and algae. However, a pressure washer can easily damage your cedar shakes if the water pressure is too high. We recommend cleaning with a garden hose instead. Review our guide to cedar siding maintenance if you’ve just finished your installation.
