Sewage ejector pumps, with help from gravity, pump wastewater and solid wastes to the home’s main sewer line if you have water-using fixtures located belowground—like a basement bathroom or laundry room, for instance. For example, you could install additional pipes for a basement bathroom. Since the floor will be sealed over with concrete when you’re done, now’s a good time to take care of those bigger tasks.
