Sunrise Garage Door responded quickly and gave an estimate within hours of initial contact. We hired them on the spot and they came the next day to replace parts on our two garage door openers so that they both functioned again, reprogram our keypad entry box, and reprogram our remote opener. This is a family-owned business with over 50-years combined experience in the field of garage doors. They were very knowledgeable and skilled and we are highly satisfied with their work and work ethic. We would recommend them for any job, large or small. Great job, guys!

They came and gave me a bid for repair which according to angi.com was above the high end of for this type of repair. I needed it done quickly so I okayed the repair. I never received a written estimate or work repair order. I was told that his wife does that on Sundays and I would receive it via email. I still have not received it. The work was done and the garage door is working, but I feel as though I could have had it done cheaper and with written paperwork and a warranty. I have a standard garage door and the repair cost me $350.00 plus tax.

Our springs had broken in our main garage door and it was extremely difficult to open manually, so I could not get in or out of the garage by myself. I called a different company on Monday, just before 5:00 pm. That company is just a couple miles from my house, but they didn't answer, so I left a message. I received a call back around 8:30 am the following day, but they couldn't make it over until Wednesday. I called Sunrise and he was able to come right over that morning & within a couple hours had us all fixed up with new upgraded springs and brackets. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I found him to be honest and straight forward about everything including cost. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.

.he came back on saturday and spent hours adjusting the door and replaced all of the rollers on the door saying that the ones I had on there were junk. it worked good for about two week then the spring broke, I had him replace that and then he told me that my door needed adjustment, I told him that he had already adjusted it, he said that it must have slipped out again. he replaced all of the bolts and screws that were holing the door to the wall. during all of these visits out he was constantly yelling at his helper. he has come out three more time since then to fix the door that will not work properly yet to this day. with each visit he seems to find a new reason that the door will not work properly. it worked fine up until the day he deemed it neccessary to adjust it other than the drive chain breaking. I still need to get this door fixed but I will be calling some else. By the way he also nailed one of his business cards to my wall leaving holes that I did not ask him to do . I will not be calling again

This was the second time that I've relied on BJ to fix a garage door. We had a mishap in our previous house and he had to replace the whole door. In this instance, he just had to replace and realign a few things. It took longer than he expected due to difficulties getting the parts we needed. However, he kept his word and charged me what he quoted. I'm hoping that I won't need to call BJ again for garage door repairs; however, if I do have problems, he'll be the first one I'll call.

We were unable to use one of the doors on our shop, the technician was able to get the opener to work  but we needed a new circuit board.  While he was there he noticed that there was a broken bracket on our garage door and replaced it at no charge.  He adjusted all four of the doors and openers during the initial visit. He returned two weeks later and replaced the circuit board in the shop opener. He definitely went the extra mile to get us operational.  The cost we very reasonable considering all of the extra work he did.

The door never worked properly after they installed new runners.  They said they would come back to fix it and always had too busy of a schedule so I had to hire a different crew to come fix it.  All the new crew did was oil the system.  This was a  horrible experience.  He is a nice guy but not very competent.  To make matters worse, I just had the garage wall painted and he hammered his business card into the wall above the garage door opener with large nails.

.BJ and crew came out on a Sunday, when the problem happened, to give the estimate and had us back in business by Wed. that week.
That quick response saved me big problems, with cold weather coming on.  Over all, the experience has been great!

The tech completed all of the service quickly and completely.  My garage doors are working much better than before.  He was able to fix issues i didn't even know were a problem, but which improved the operation of the openers and made the doors quieter and smoother.

I called them on a Wednesday at about 4:45 pm. They were able to come out the next day. They came out in the morning and gave an estimate for how much it would cost and then came back later and performed the work. They had to take the old metal bottom off and put on a new on with a new rubber weather stripping. He charged us for fixing that part of the door. He also performed a check on the rest of the door and fixed other things that were wrong at no cost to us. We will definitely use them again in the future.

We were do a remodel about the same time and some of the other contractors complained about the language that was used by the installers of the garage door. This made uncomfortable as we have close neighbors and did not appreciate that report. The owner of the garage door company also said he would come back and adjust the door but to date has not happened even after being called. I also notice a gap around the large door which seems it would be detrimental to the efficiency of the R value of the door to the home. This door was a premium door and tax rebate is to be received for next year. We bought 2 doors and expected the service and professionalism guarteed by owner, but are disappointed.

I was very please with the speedy professional service I received. The other door companies I contact told me it would be a couple of days before they could send someone out to look at my door. I would recommend them to other people.

I filled out a form on Saturday night and within a few minutes I received a phone call fro B.J. I figured we would set an appointment for some time in the next week or two, but to my surprise B.J. said he could come out Sunday morning as he understood my dilemma. He arrived and gave me a more than fair estimate for the work and I ask when I could get it done. He said I have all the things I need so now if you would like. Okay, I figured three or four hours, but again B.J. surprised me by getting it fixed in a little over an hour. Not only did he do the work I requested, but went beyond that and straightened the garage door hinges, lubricated the whole thing, and went that extra mile that is need to wear the mantle of an American craftsman. I highly recommend Sunrise Garage Door Co. for any one who want a quality job and a more than reasonable price.
