"Bath Planet came out and remodeled my Bathroom Shower, they were professional, and they did this with in 4 hours, they cleaned up after themselves. We had odd shaped walls but they handled this professionally. Mike the installer was professional, but he did a quality job, he also run into a little plumbing problems, so I had to get my own plumber there to help them out, otherwise everything was good. I am happy so far, it is been 2 weeks of using my new shower and so far so good, very easy cleanup, just wipe down which I Love!!"

"Ethan Longbine just left here. He is a Service Technician with FRS. He did a great job taking care of a leaky pipe running from my furnace to the sump pit. He also was very helpful in wiping up some water/mildew area's after sealing the pipe. I have to say that FRS customer service is stellar, and I would recommend them to anybody. They are not cheap, but sometimes quality costs. And it is especially good to know how they treat previous customers like me. Because that is what makes "return customers"! Thanks again Ethan, I really appreciated your work! Bob B. (Homeowner)"

"Problem with ice dams and gutter drainage during winter.  One of the valleys may have been compromised.  Contacted Tim via Angie's list and had a reply call and estimate within 24 hours.  Given that we didn't know what was under the shingles, Tim priced a couple of options depending on what scenarios he encountered.
It did take a couple of reschedules to get the job started, but this was during the rainiest May we ever had and the job was not an emergency.  Given the number of reviews where this was the case, this was not an issue.  Had my job been an emergency, I would have wanted that type of service as well.
Once on site and the crew got underneath the shingles, they discovered their had never been an ice shield installed on the original build.  The partial tear off, barrier install, and re-shingle took the better part of the day.  The crew was very meticulous on the clean up and Tim walked the job site at the end of the day.
The gutters/downspouts had the same timing issue due to the weather, but were installed a week later.  They really got tested with all the rain we got.  In fact it poured within an hour of the gutter install.  This may have compromised some of the joints that were sealed, but it also gave me an opportunity to see everything work together.
Throughout the entire experience, Tim kept in contact and and was always asking for feedback and concerns regarding my satisfaction with the work.  I truly must commend him for embracing the customer service aspect and making every effort to stand behind his work.  While we made every effort to approach the job so I won't need to be up on the roof this winter dealing with ice dams and I hope there is no reason to call him, I feel comfortable knowing that if an issue should arise, Tim has demonstrated that he is responsive to customer concerns.

"They couldn't deliver, they specified items that after months of waiting, they could never deliver. In the mean time, they directed me to have plumbing rough and done, and then when they couldn't deliver the system for which the plumbing was done, I now have to spend several thousand dollars having the plumbing redone for another system that I found out on my own. The design was okay, some of their ideas were spot on, some of them were way off but ultimately they just couldn't deliver after holding $10,000 of my money for over 2 months. I am currently in a dispute with them with American Express because they still haven't credited me back the money I paid them to purchase things that they never delivered."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Trenchless sewer replacements are actually a great solution for sewer lines located under concrete. A professional can still sleeve and burst old piping to make room for a new one without having to dig up your slab.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

First, check that you have cut off the water supply to your toilet. This is a project that can only be done safely if running water cannot reach your toilet fixture. If you're seeing water trickle out after you've confirmed that the water supply is shut off, you can probably rest assured that what you're seeing isn't a problem. It's common for leftover water to spill out when you're removing your toilet's fill valve. If something goes wrong while you're working on your toilet, you'll need to look at your home's policy to see if your homeowner insurance covers water damage.

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

No, it’s not safe to use a blowtorch or any open flame to thaw pipes. The intense heat can cause the pipe to burst and/or start a fire, leading to very costly damage. Instead, use safer external heating alternatives, such as heat tape, a space heater, or an infrared lamp.
