"Hoss gave us a reasonable price and started work a few days later. We had a shallow bathtub, plastic surround, and old tiled walls and floor removed. He has a young, hard working crew. They installed a deep bathtub, tile surround and floor, new drywall and paint. They were fast efficient and cleaned up before leaving everyday. We love our new bathroom. If you’re looking for a durable tile for a shower floor, consider porcelain, stone, or vinyl tiles. Each of these options, when installed correctly, will stand up well to everything from water and moisture to the impact from a dropped bottle of body wash. These materials are also easy to clean and maintain, making them popular options for shower floors.

Tiling can be DIY with the right tools and skills, but challenges like ensuring evenness and appropriate adhesion often warrant professional handling.

You can technically install tile over tile, but we don’t suggest it. Installing tile over any surface that isn’t a completely flat and prepared subfloor will result in a shoddy overall job, uneven flooring, tiles that don’t adhere, extra weight, gaps, cracks, and room for moisture and dirt to enter.
