Good! Seemed to take a long time but it looked great when done.

Done and Done we’re prompt with responses, bids and finishing the projects. The servicemen were polite and very competent in all repairs. We have hired them multiple times.

I would like to thank, Pat the owner! We had our main bathroom completely gutted and remodeled, new toilet in basement bathroom, and new under counter kitchen led lights. Tony did most of work, was excellent! Had Rich and Ben with electrical, and Chad for dry wall. All very professional, pleasant, fun, and did great job! They were all very proud of there work and it showed! All were on time, cleaned up everyday, and did wonderful job! Was top of the line supplies, top of the line service! We are so happy with everything. Pat went above and beyond as an owner to make sure we were happy with the outcome. He listened to us, sent the best workers and had great follow up. We appreciated all everyone did for us to make this a success! Please try them for your projects!

Well. Travel costs were expensive, but we knew that up front. We got a good itemization of all costs.

Work went very well. Three workers arrived on time and completed the job in less than a morning's work. Only hitch was that they did not check with me before leaving. I called them to return for an additional cut, and they returned immediately and completed the additional work with no hesitation. The tree is now healthy and attractive.

I give them an A. The fixed our plumbing issue. I would use them again and recommend their service.

Handyman Tony was awesome. He was super nice, didn't mind my 3 dogs (they loved him) and he wasn't invasive (I was home while he worked. There wasn't enough time to finish the projects I wanted done, so I still have a ceiling fan to put up and a couple of dimmer switches. Quality and service were very good. CON: they charge you mileage (even in town) for their crew to go back and forth to your house. And if something doesn't fit and you need another supply for the project, they upcharge you 20% for every supply they get you. And you don't get the receipts in case something goes wrong. This makes me want to give a D for value. Turned out to be a lot more than the budgeted for.

It went well beyond where sometimes they would pull Todd off our job to finish up other jobs causing minor delays. He is good, so they needed him on other jonbs.

Great, they work up the ideas and setup all that was needed. This was a big project that took a lot of careful thought and planning.

They re textured our ceilings and of course none of the re texturing matched. The painters had made big streaks that looked liked stripes. He also painted our master bedroom ceilings and we did not want want that painted and it also had the big stripes running through them. He "fixed" some caulking for us and the caulking color did not match at all it stood out like a sore thumb. I reached out to them and let them know of the issues and they acted like it was no big deal. He did not give us any of our money back or fix any of the issues.

When first contacted for a bid on the work, Done Done Services was prompt in providing the estimate. Initially my elderly Mother-in-Law did not want to deal with moving out furniture and elected to do the minimum necessary to repair the damage. Once the work began, however, it was evident that more work needed to be done to correctly repair the damage. Pat Freilinger, the owner, and the assigned workman, Chris, convinced my Mother-in-Law that they should do what was necessary to do the job right. In the end Chris did a fantastic job removing wall paper in the entire room, repairing plaster, sealing cracks, and painting the room. The work was done on a timely basis and the end result was fantastic. Both Chris and Pat kept us informed of the progress and Chris helped my Mother-in-Law put the room back together when all of the work was finished. I would not hesitate to recommend Done Done Services for similar work.

They went above and beyond the call of duty. They are easy to work with, friendly, and pay attention to the details. I will definitely work with them again.

Couldn't have gone better. They performed the services timely, the communication was wonderful, they were neat and thorough. We are incredibly happy with how it turned out. Although it felt a little pricey, the old line, you get what you pay for, held true !?

Done Done did a great job - the work was done on a 100 year home and took great care with set-up before even starting the job.  The job was started and completed as scheduled.  The crew performing the work was very professional and were very conscious of the house. And clean-up left the house as before the job started.  I would strongly recommend Done Done for any home improvement job you might have.

Work was done well. They were efficient and professional. We were on a tight timeline and they met it without any issues. I would definitely use them again.

Done Done did work on our house just before we purchased it. They installed a new foundation wall and did some grading outside of the house. The wall leaks where the new and old one meets. We called Done Done to see about warranty work and have it looked at, but found that it is not covered due to a disagreement between them and the old owner; they also refused to come look. Not sure what happened; never met the old owner. We would have been happy to work with Done Done, as we had just moved to Cedar Rapids and were not familiar with contractors in the area, but they were very negative about the whole situation. We had a wrap-around deck that had to be removed in order to access where the leak was, and found the grading to be very poor. Ended up having the grading redone by a different contractor. The foundation wall looks good, but seeps.

The estimate was 800 the final invoice was 1400.00. The work was done timely and is nicely done, I'm just disappointed the estimate was so far off. Had I been quoted even close to what the invoice was I would have done it myself.

On 11/19 I spoke with the contractor who wanted to understand the angie's list grade. I explained I was satisfied with the work the professionalism, the speed, the quality all of it. Just not the estimating price. The contractor  explained the estimating process and why the error could have happened, and the process he has in place to avoid this from happening. The job was estimated over the phone, and the technician doing the work is supposed to notify the homowner if the job is going to cost significantly more than the estimate. So the homeowner has an opportunity to decline the work if it's more than they want to pay. Unfortunately this never happened. A billing explanation is also supposed to be sent out before the work so that the homeowner can be aware of the costs involved. This too did not happen. The reason for the latter may that they were able to do our job almost 2 weeks sooner than the original scheduled date (A+) in my book.
In the end the contractor felt bad and wanted to make it right. He offered to refund some of the bill, which he certainly didn't have to do. He clearly feels like a happy customer is a returning customer....guess what he's right. I have a new home with plenty of things we want to do it, and I know who I'll choose. Not becuase he's refunding money, but because he was willing to call to try and understand what happened and help a customer understand. He clearly cares about his business and his customers. Too many today take the money and run. I have changed their grade to the A they already deserved for everything up to the estimating billing problem.

It went very well. The installer was on time and completed the project timely. My only issue was an add on fee charged in "case they make a mistake". I don't feel the customer should have to pay for their potential mistakes.
