The Jensen family’s history in electrical work spans three generations. It began with Kyle’s grandfather, who spent 47 years as a maintenance electrician with Mountain Bell. That dedication to craftsmanship continued with Kyle’s father, a well-respected electrical contractor in Southern Utah. Following in their footsteps, Kyle entered the trade early—starting as an apprentice at 16, earning his Journeyman license in 2002, and achieving his Master Electrician license in 2006. With that deeply rooted family foundation, he brings decades of hands-on knowledge to every project.\n\n

"The problem turned out to be a burned out small electric door switch. I believe the price was way too expensive for the service performed and the price of the door switch. What more can I say? It got done."

"This company is obviously nationwide and hires local contractors.  I trusted Agies List that all contractors are licensed, bonded and have background checks.  This person was a handyman and not qualified to wall mount, conceal wires, add electrical outlet.  He  spend five hours in my home, for a job that should have taken two hours and left the area in a disaster.  The TV was hung close to the ceiling, the wires were hanging down from the TV, and the receiver was sitting on top of a plaster box because the cord was too short.  He was obviously not qualified to install TV wall mounts.  I have photos.    As soon as he left, I called Best Buy Geek Squad.  They were able to come out the next day and mount the TV professionally.  I have used the geek squad in Virginia and they are highly qualified.  They charge more than this nationwide company but you get what you pay for.  I called Angies List the day after the disaster and said i did not want to rate this company but I wanted to talk to a manager. No one called me to apologize. I have cancelled my membership.  Do not use this company unless you can be assured that the local contractor is qualified and is licensed.  You should never let anyone into your home that has not had background checks.

"I just pay $75 you never know who's going to come out. They do everything electrical. Just about everything is covered except the septic tank. I had an air conditioner replaced. It went great, all I had to do was pay for the freon. He didn't charge e more than what was needed."

"There were many things wrong in my computer (my fault and letting grandchildren on computer) Robert was so helpful, gave me many good instructions to keep everything safe, which I have written down, feel like I have a new computer. He was so excellent and experienced, took his time and was meticulous about what needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use this company again! Linda Disy"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Allison, be wary if an electrical contractor’s quote is unusually low, lacks itemized details, or asks for full payment before work begins. Avoid professionals who won’t share references, pressure you to decide quickly, or hesitate to provide a written contract. If a contractor won’t discuss necessary permits or refuses to guarantee their work, it’s best to seek a more reputable local expert.

Helpful?

In Allison, homeowners should consider how seasonal storms or temperature swings may impact scheduling and electrical system reliability. Rural locations can mean longer lead times for materials and fewer available electrical contractors. If your home is older, you may need specialized upgrades, such as updated wiring or surge protection, to meet current safety standards and support modern appliances or backup power systems.

Helpful?

In Allison, small electrical repairs or installing new outlets typically take a day or two. Upgrading an electrical panel may require up to three days, especially if inspections are needed. Whole-home rewiring projects often last three to seven days, while electrical work for new construction can extend from two to four weeks, depending on weather, material availability, and the local contractor’s schedule.

Helpful?

Before starting electrical work in Allison, confirm which permits and inspections are required for your project. Review local electrical codes and clarify the timeline with your chosen electrical professional. If your project involves renovations, coordinate with other trades to prevent scheduling conflicts. For outdoor or major upgrades, plan ahead for weather disruptions and ensure all utility lines are clearly marked before any digging begins.

Helpful?

Completing electrical projects in Allison brings immediate safety improvements, reduces fire risks, and allows for more reliable power to support today’s technology. Over time, upgrades like energy-efficient lighting or modern panels can lower utility bills, boost property value, and prepare your home for future needs. Investing in surge protection or backup systems also helps safeguard your home during severe weather and unexpected outages.
