"I'm a little tardy submitting this review. I was selling my house and the buyer wanted all stucco in contact with the ground removed and efflorescence addressed. Getting someone in my town with this kind of experience was difficult at best but I found Cochran construction. Jeff provided a very reasonable estimate and then did an excellent job around the entire home. Very happy with his work as was the buyer. Would definitely hire him again."

"We had new gutters installed after storm damage ruined our old ones. It took a while for the representative to get back to us a few times but he was very professional, nice, and helpful. We understood that the delays were due to back orders from the storm damage. We would most certainly use them again because the quality and craftsmanship were outstanding."

"Outstanding Painting Service – Highly Recommend Brother T Painting! I recently hired Brother T Painting to get a property market-ready, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, they were professional, flexible, and fair—qualities that are hard to come by in today’s market. The quality of their work speaks for itself. The attention to detail, clean lines, and smooth finishes truly elevated the home’s appeal. They worked efficiently while ensuring every inch was done to perfection. Plus, their pricing was reasonable and transparent, making it clear they prioritize customer satisfaction over quick profits. They handled everything with a great attitude and a commitment to excellence. If you’re looking for a painter who delivers top-notch work at a fair price, it's Brother T Painting. I highly recommend them for any home improvement project—whether you're preparing a home for sale or just giving it a fresh, new look. They’ll get the job done right!"

"

It went fantastic! These people are awesome and did it all at the best price that we found. From the very beginning with the estimator and then our project manager Joquin, they were a pleasure to do business with. They are very professional, very polite, hard working, conscientious, punctual, pleasant and easy to have around your house all day.  They had to work a lot of the time with other contractors working around the house too. They did not get easily frustrated, showed a good attitude and were flexible. They did an excellent job and we would definitely hire them back any time we needed anything done! We had Gustavo and Jeffrey working in our home, and could not be any happier.  We have had experiences with other companies that were night and day to this. We considered them artists in their field. We highly recommend Top Choice Painters.

Stucco questions, answered by experts

It’s not advisable to use CLR on stucco. CLR is a powerful acidic cleaner designed for removing tough mineral stains. Stucco is a porous material commonly made of cement, lime, and sand. The acidic nature of CLR can potentially damage or etch the stucco surface, leading to discoloration or deterioration.

It is best to use cleaning solutions specifically formulated for stucco or mild household cleaners mixed with water to clean stucco siding. Always test any cleaning product in a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire stucco surface.

The length of time shouldn’t matter much if you stick with lightweight Christmas lights and similar decorations. Those shouldn’t pose risks to your stucco. You should avoid attaching anything to your stucco that could fall because it’s too heavy, which may take part of the stucco with it. Some methods, like using double-sided tape or adhesive hooks, will naturally wear out over time and lead to falling lights, so don’t expect to leave these lights up year-round.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.

Solid, unpainted stucco shouldn’t suffer damage from dots of glue used for this task. If the stucco is dirty, you may notice slight marks when you heat and peel the glue away, but these aren’t permanent.

However, not all stucco walls are solid stucco. Some are “faux” stucco with a foam backing. This kind of stucco veneer is more susceptible to damage, including damage from hot glue. We don’t suggest attaching anything to these kinds of stucco walls, so make sure you check the stucco type before starting this project.

Cracks, discoloration, and moisture intrusion often indicate necessary repairs.
