"The furnace took 4 days to get approved( not counting a Sunday) the others were quick but the water heater had to be ordered so without hot water for a week. One ceiling fan was easy but within a year their policy changed and They would not install the one I purchased and had to get a new one approved and then ordered online and took several weeks to get straightened out. Not sure who was at fault, AHS, installer or scheduling with renter. Fee is usually $75 per visit"

"The work was scheduled to start on 4 November 2013 and they were on schedule. They arrived on time (approximately 8:30) and commenced immediately to lay down covering on the stairs and hallway carpets. They then removed all the existing tiles, wall board and baseboard tiles. The removed the materials and generally cleaned the area. They installed new insulation in the ceiling and exterior walls, installed the new faucets and plumbing connections and new cement board. The main walls were completed, a box was installed that is for shampoos and soap in lieu of protruding fixtures, and the first coat of sealant was installed on Tuesday. Wednesday the returned to install a second coat of sealant on the cement board. Thursday the returned to install the tiles that I supplied. They installed all tiles up to and including a band of glass tiles that runs around the whole area. Friday the came and installed the remaining tiles. They worked long hours on Friday since we were scheduled to go out of town the following Wednesday. They were worried about the ceiling tiles since the tiles are 8 X16 and are somewhat heavy. They used braces to hold the tile long enough for the mastic to set and hold the tile in place. Monday the 11th they returned to install the grout, the final faucets and baseboards. Tuesday the returned to seal the grout and do a final cleanup. Generally they were clean and neat, cleaning up each day. All waste materials were removed from the site. They did request that they leave the tile wet saw in our garage overnight so as to minimize the take down and reset time. This was not a real issue but we did have to leave one vehicle out overnight a few days. They finished in a reasonable amount of time. They could have been a bit more careful in covering the floors as there was some dust but this was to be expected in such a demolition. The cost was more than reasonable, the work was performed in a professional manner and they were generally nice personnel. The crew consisted mostly of Brian's wife and son-in-law. They worked straight through most days and only tool a minimum of breaks.
