"My undermount kitchen sink fell in on itself and I was not finding any contractor that would touch and undermount sink. Juan was more than willing and capable. It was a difficult task due to I wanted to replace the sink with a single bowl going from a dual bowl. The new sink was a challenge due to it being it slightly larger and deeper. The cabinet also was challenge, due it being a little small for the new sink as well, so he had to modify it, but it when he put it back together, it was like it never happened. He was able to remove the old sink, install the new sink, and update the plumbing for the single bowl as well. I could not be happier!"

"The project involved repairing a leaking shower drain. The fix was for the contractors to replace the tile in the shower basin and replace the drain to include replacing some of the drain piping. It end up being a little more than I wanted to spend but the work provided a solid longterm solution versus re-sealing the tile which was what i was initially leaning toward doing."

"The Saunders arrived as scheduled for the initial quote inspection. Ken arrived on time, and did a thorough inspection and provided a line item quote. He personally picked up a the materials and delivered them to the job site the day before scheduled installation. He and his assistant arrived early the next day, promptly set up the work site and jumped right in. This was in the hottest part of August and I made them knock off by mid day to avoid heat stroke! Because of this it took an extra day to finish but when they we done I had a beautiful wood deck porch covered with a peaked roof that matched my roof perfectly. The construction was sound and thete were no 'shortcuts' taken. Ken, Brad, and Ken were professional, accurate and highly skilled. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have several other projects in mind and they will be my contractors. Couldn't have asked for a better experience."

We recently purchased a 2nd home on Lake James with an exterior that is 100% cedar.  The exterior was in serious need of cleaning and re-staining.  It had not been maintained; and, had a significant amount of mold staining and several areas of the trim had the original finish peeling off.

We contracted with Mike and Crystal to prep and re-stain the exterior of our home.  Throughout the process, Mike demonstrated thoroughness, competency and responsibility.  Mike and Crystal took personal responsibility to ensure they delivered a quality product.  Mike kept his commitments and did not compromise his work product even when faced with the stripping process taking more time than he expected.  He completed the project per the schedule he committed.

Mike demonstrated a high attention to detail in the finishing process and ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction.  The home looks beautiful...we could not be happier.

I solicited bids from several paint contractors and evaluated several before selecting Mike.  His pricing was very competitive versus several other contractors; but, I never observed where Mike cut corners.

I would definitely recommend MIke's Painting and will plan to use Mike again when we have painting needs.

We ran into a serious problem with major structural damage water ingression from the original shower and much restructuring work was needed on studs and outer plywood sheathing. Not an issue, the problem was corrected for a small additional charge. Their skill levels are excellent, across many different applications, structural repairs, plumbing, dry walling & mudding tiling, floor repairs and painting. I highly recommend this company, and we would re-use them for any other jobs I need in the future. I was truly amazed at the quality and timeliness of their work; they would get 10 out of 10 stars if that were such a rating!"
