"Came to our lake house twice to fix an issue with shower going hot and cold and the issue was not rectified either time, yet we were charged approx $800 for each visit (including “trip charge”). We were slow to pay the second time because we were asking them to come back and fix the issue and we got chastised by the lady calling to collect with threats that “trust me, you dont want to owner to get involved” inferring that he was not going to be pleasant to deal with. We actually asked for the owner to call but all we got was were threats to be sent to bad debt collection so we gave up and just paid the bill. Now we’ve spent $1600 with Ace, who cares nothing about making sure our issue was resolved but just collecting their fees and we still haven’t gotten our problem fixed. Great example of why contractors have a bad name. No integrity."

"They build small portable water well rigs. We purchased one over a year ago but only recently got to use it. The rig works as intended, however the drill stem pipe we purchased with it was not welded properly and it broke loose in the well we were drilling. We lost 5 joints of pipe and the bit. After calling to ask them to replace it, I got no response? I included a pic that showed the weld had not burned in. Very sad I did not expect to be treated that way. "I had a brand new heat pump system installed in April 2023. They sent subcontractors to install it who were very unprofessional and they left bare wires hanging out of the machine and it did not look like it was installed correctly. It stopped working completely 4 times in 5 months, the last time was on October 10, service tech said, “I really don’t agree with the way they installed it “ he said the wires were barely connected so it kept losing power. He got it working again and left. Two weeks ago it got cold and we turned the system to heat for the very first time. It blew cold air. We made ANOTHER service call. The technician said that a switch had “gone bad” because, “they wear out” we explained that we have never used the heat even once, so how could the switch be worn out. Then they advised they had to order a part. Over a week later the part came in and they returned and that still didn’t fix. Now they say the compressor has, “gone bad” and when we reiterated that we have never even used it so how is it worn out they answered, “they just go bad sometimes” we still don’t have heat, they say they have to order more parts. We asked them to look over the whole system because we don’t think it is installed right and I am genuinely concerned that it is a fire hazard and they looked at it, put electrical tape on some hanging wires and left. We have had to take SIX days off work so far and buy space heaters and we are no closer to having a working system. This unit is less then SIX MONTHS OLD. At this point I have no choice but to pursue legal action. This whole experience has been terrible and has cost me hundreds in missed time at work and I’m still paying for a system that does not work."
