"Great job! Removed two tall Magnolia trees and a huge Poplar Tree, all way too close to my house. Trimmed other trees and cleaned up my yard afterwards of all the tree branches and tree trunks. I would recommend Frank and his crew to take care of their tree problems. "Thanks Guys!" Phyllis Dahlonega, Ga"

"Use this tree service with confidence. I was extremely impressed with the manner Rustyâ s tree service cut down, and removed from my yard, a tree that had been hit by lightning. The following is what I experienced in using this tree service. 1. Prompt response to my initial phone call to set up a date and time for a free estimate on the cost of cutting down my tree. (Actually, Rusty himself answered my call and then called me back an hour later to give me possible times when he could come by and give me an estimate.) 2. Rusty â showed upâ at my house exactly when he said he would be there to give me an estimate. 3. The estimate to cut the tree down was received the day he came out to look at the tree. 4. A fair price. Rustyâ s price to cut down the tree was slightly lower than two other companies from which I received bids. However, in rare fashion for me, I was so impressed with Rusty and confident he would treat me fairly, I called Rusty and set up a time for him to do the job prior to receiving the other bids. 5. Rusty and his crew arrived at my house to cut down the tree at the time I had been told. 6. Rusty and his crew did an â amazing jobâ cutting down the tree and removing it from my yard (my grandchildren who watched him climb up the tree are still talking about it). The other companies were going to cut the tree down at its base and â do their bestâ not to injure surrounding bushes or flowers (a variety of flowers were four feet from the tree). Rusty climbed the tree and sectioned it from top to bottom. It was truly impressive how he cut up the tree and dropped sections to the ground. He did not hit or injure any surrounding bushes or flowers (â ¦ again, it was truly remarkable). If you are in need of having a tree trimmed or cut down, you should contact this tree service. Sincerely, Dan M"

"My experience with this company was amazing! They did incredible work and at a reasonable time. After they were finished they made sure my yard looked nice and put back together which was a bonus! There pricing for tree work and stump grinding beat any other company I was getting quotes from around the area."

"We've had trees removed from our property in the past, but, Tree Surgeons surpassed them. They were pleasant, polite, and professional, and did what they said at a fair price! They placed boards in our front yard so as not to mess up the yard as they drove the bobcat over it. When they finished, in our backyard, you could not tell they'd even been there. They did a great job and even cleaned up the cul-de-sac."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Tree service in Gainesville offers immediate benefits such as reducing storm damage risk, improving curb appeal, and eliminating hazardous limbs—especially important with local pines and oaks. Over time, healthy trees provide shade, lower cooling costs during hot Georgia summers, and support native wildlife. Proper tree care also helps prevent soil erosion on sloped lots and protects your property from wind and heavy rain common in the region.

Helpful?

After tree service in Gainesville, apply mulch around remaining trees, water deeply to aid recovery, and clear all debris to prevent pest problems. Monitor for signs of new growth, insect activity, or compacted soil, especially in clay-heavy areas. Schedule annual tree inspections before storm season and keep records of completed tree trimming or removal for property value and insurance purposes. Regular care helps maintain healthy, resilient trees.

Helpful?

Combining tree service with other home upgrades in Gainesville can streamline your project timeline and reduce disruptions. For example, scheduling tree removal or trimming before landscaping, fence installation, or roof work allows easier equipment access and protects new features. Coordinating services also minimizes repeated site visits and can help you address issues like overgrown branches or root intrusion before starting additional home improvements.

Helpful?

After tree service in Gainesville, check for signs like new cracks in your driveway or foundation, changes in yard drainage, or unusual flickering of lights. Large tree removal may alter water flow, especially on hillsides, and roots can impact underground pipes or utility lines. If you notice pooling water, shifting soil, or issues with irrigation, consult a local arborist or landscaping professional for a thorough assessment.

Helpful?

In Gainesville, homeowners often prune oaks during high beetle activity, ignore permit requirements for removing mature trees, or work near Lake Lanier’s buffer zone without proper approval. Hiring uninsured crews or skipping credential checks can lead to property damage. Over-pruning or topping trees weakens them, and failing to address erosion control on slopes may cause long-term landscaping and drainage issues.
