"We have used N&D House Cleaning for three years and love them. They come every other week and make our 5,000 sq ft home look brand new every time. We have three boys under 4 and until a few months ago we had an old incontinent dog so they have been a huge blessing as they always do a phenomenal job, they show up on time and they are detail oriented. We also usually have the same two ladies who come and they are so kind even our boys love to see them. The owner is so kind and professional and we have also taken advantage of their deep cleaning and antibacterial cleaning services which have all been wonderful as well. Can’t say enough great things about them. Highly recommend."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Henry did an excellent job pressure washing the driveway, pool deck, and retaining wall for me. He was able to get them super clean after years of dirt and debris. I have used his services several times at several locations. He is always professional, communicates clearly, he is very good at what he does, and price has been very reasonable. I highly recommend."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Acrylic tubs are easy to clean with simple items you already have around the house. You can use dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, cream of tartar, or borax to clean an acrylic bathtub. Avoid mixing any household cleaners, including common ingredients like vinegar and bleach, as this can create toxic fumes. It’s also best to start with a spot test of any cleaners you use.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using an EPA-registered disinfectant product to disinfect a house properly. If such a product isn't handy, a strong bleach solution can disinfect high-touch surfaces. Before hiring a professional, be sure to discuss the type of chemicals and disinfectants they plan to use to ensure they’re safe for household use.

The best thing to clean bathrooms with is an all-purpose cleaner, a mixture of white vinegar and water (50:50 ratio), and a glass cleaner for mirrors and glass surfaces. You can also use baking soda on areas with soap residue or mildew. The best tool to clean a bathroom depends on the specific task, but a sponge and a fresh towel are versatile options.

When hiring a housekeeper, prioritize candidates with proven experience and solid references. Look for background checks and ask for proof of insurance or bonding to protect your home. Discuss their cleaning process, the supplies they use, and whether they have any specialized training for surfaces like marble or hardwood. These steps help ensure your housekeeper is both skilled and trustworthy.

Yes, if you’re strapped for supplies, boiling hot water can be a great alternative for getting rid of soap scum. However, as this method calls for a bit of soaking, it’s best used when cleaning your bathroom sink or bath basin (or on small objects you can submerge). All you have to do is plug your sink or bathtub drain and pour in enough boiling water to cover the soap scum. Allow it to soak for five minutes, drain, and follow up with an additional hot water rinse to remove any lingering residue.
