"We got a leaking pipe replaced on 2/5/2021 by Reggie and Kyle from Atlantis Plumbing. They were great! They showed up early that morning, took one lunch break, and was done before dark the same day. The work was professionally done and still looks really good. We were also pleased with the cost as Atlantis was the cheapest of four companies we were considering. Great Job!!!"

"Hot water heater burst late in evening. I called first thing the next morning and spoke directly with Donald. He said he would be here to repair/replace our hot water heater around noon. He got to our home around 11:40, checked water pressure and hot water heater to find the problem and determined the hot water heater did need to be replaced. He removed old hot water heater, installed the new one, re-worked a little of the plumbing and replaced the thermal expansion tank in 2 hours. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I highly recommend Donald and will definitely use him again in the future for my plumbing needs!"

Customers say: Quality work

"They came on time, 3 guys got out of their truck and began working with the precision skills of a NASCAR pit crews. One went to shut off the water while the other started to drain the tank and the third started disconnecting the pipes. It was amazing just to watch. In no time I had a brand new water heater. And it was ALL done with hard COPPER PIPE, none of this flex hose and compression connections stuff. I need to give credit to their support group(the office) I communicated mostly by email. My questions were answered almost as fast as I could send them. When they were done I was charged exactly the price they had quoted me, not like most companies that try to gouge you with all kinds of ;bring it up to code thing. All of that was included. I own a property management company and I often need to get water heaters replaced. These guys did a great job and I will use them again."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, modular homes are typically safe for areas prone to hurricanes. In regions at risk of severe storms, local zoning guidelines often require that these dwellings be built using materials designed to endure strong winds and heavy rainfall, ensuring they meet the safety standards for such conditions.

Each has its use, depending on the scenario. Security doors are primarily intended to keep people out of the home, while storm doors are used to protect the home from extreme weather. Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. Storm doors can feature mesh screens, just like screen doors, to allow for increased ventilation and to keep out pests. Security doors rarely, if ever, have mesh screens.

While sometimes used interchangeably, screen doors and storm doors have key differences. Screen doors are simple structures, typically composed of just a frame and a screen, designed to keep out bugs while allowing air circulation. In contrast, storm doors are heavier and more complex, built to protect your home's main entry door from weather and intruders. They usually feature an aluminum frame with interchangeable tempered glass and screen panels, allowing you to switch between ventilation and insulation. A storm door offers more protection and versatility but generally costs more than a basic screen door.

Storm doors aren’t necessarily outdated. In fact, there are many benefits to installing a storm door, including improving your home’s energy efficiency, keeping pests out of your house, and protecting your home against the elements. However, storm doors aren’t great if you live in an area with high humidity because the door can trap heat and potentially damage your front door.

Costs depend on door material, security features, labor, and structural modifications.
