"We have used a good amount of companies before, and continued to get the same result; no communication, always above budget, and never within the time frame discussed. Trevor and his team were the exact opposite of this. We never had any issues with communication, price, or time. We also have three small children and our project was fairly large. Trevor and his team took great care to make sure our children were comfortable, and most importantly, safe. 10 out of 10 will absolutely hire again."

"We hired Hayberg Restoration for a full kitchen remodel and couldn’t be happier. From the initial planning through the final walkthrough, they were organized, transparent, and genuinely cared about getting everything right. Communication was quick and clear, the crew was respectful of our home, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Their design-build approach made the whole process feel streamlined, and we always knew what was happening next. If you want a contractor you can trust for kitchen remodeling, I highly recommend Hayberg Restoration."

"Jerry is so wonderful to work with. As a real estate agent, I worked with him on a fairly large project, and there were several obstacles. Jerry was so patient with the homeowner and sensitive to the situation. (The home had a lot of problems uncovered during the project). They finished on time and Jerry remained available to me for advice after the project was finished. I refer him frequently and often hear from my colleagues that they are also so impressed with him!"

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

Modern brick houses are really stick-built homes with a brick facade for aesthetic purposes only, so most have framing. With genuine brick construction, most homeowners install furring strips over the interior of the brick and then install drywall over those strips to cover the brick wall, so they don’t have traditional framing.

Framing is the shell of the house. It includes several steps, including studs, plumbing, and electricity. A professional will ensure the wall frame is secured for the house’s structural integrity.

Framing prices change depending on the material and whether the wall is load-bearing. Most contractors use wood to frame a home, but metal is another popular choice.

Building a barndominium means converting a barn into a house. Barndominiums are becoming popular as spacious and stylish alternatives to typical housing structures. Old barns that become houses traditionally consist of wooden construction. However, newer structures, such as pole barns, often contain metal exteriors and roofs. Converting a metal outbuilding into a house presents an excellent opportunity to create a barndominium from metal.

A-frame homes are on the smaller side. While there’s no set square footage amount it has to be, it will usually come in around 1,000 square feet or smaller.
