"Working with them was quick and easy. Their quotes were given on the same day that they came out and it was lower than the previous company. Customer service and attention to detail was great."

"Excellent! Lorenzo is a really nice man and has the right equipment, knowledge and work ethic. Just as importantly, he was willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Our tile floors were really showing their age with lots of discoloration and ground in dirt. They now look clean and fresh and beautiful! I am thrilled with the result!"

"YesSir Services is a perfect example of how a small, private service business should be run. Lee (Dodley) was professional, skilled, punctual and completely customer focused. We had carpet installed a few years ago and over time we had gotten some waves, etc., due to natural stretching. We had a few estimates and YesSir stood above all others in that process. It was very obvious that he take extreme pride in what he does and in his reputation. He performed all services needed, cleaned up his work completely, and did so with an extreme level of joy throughout the process. Mind you it wasn't a large job (4 rooms, walk-in closet and stairs), but I will absolutely contact him if I have any flooring needs in the future."

If it wasn't for victor this wouldn't have happened. I know the next time I need flooring I don't have to look because I know who to call. I suggest that if anyone reasons this needs this service call victor and he will get the job done for you. Thank you Victor"

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

A floor polisher won’t remove scratches from a wood floor, but the polish can fill in surface scratches and make them all but invisible. If you run your fingernail gently over the scratch and it doesn’t catch, chances are that the polish will hide it. If it does catch, you might want to have your floors fully refinished, and you might need to have a professional floor sander in for particularly deep scratches. When in doubt, call a professional floor polisher to determine if polish will fill in your scratches or if you need more in-depth services.

The best solution for mopping floors depends on the type of floor you have, but a good all-around or multi-purpose DIY floor cleaner is 2 cups of warm water, 5 to 10 drops of liquid dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. This is safe to use on tile, laminate, wood, polished concrete, vinyl, and more, as it’s relatively neutral and lacks caustic and abrasive chemicals that could be harmful to children and pets. You can also use a multi-purpose commercial cleaner, but make sure to follow the directions for safety.

The cost to polish floors averages around $200 per room, but you could pay anywhere from $100 to $300. Some factors that influence the total cost of floor polishing include the following:

  • Square footage of flooring

  • Type of floor

  • Whether you need floor repairs done beforehand

  • Whether or not you want professional floor cleaning done beforehand

Since square footage is the most significant cost factor, you might get a more accurate estimate by using the average cost per square foot for floor polishing, which is between $1.00 and $2.50.

Professionals use HEPA vacuums, industrial-strength cleaners, and microfiber cloths for effective cleaning without damaging surfaces.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.
